"Stiles, what happened?" Scott asked as he hopped out of the jeep. Stiles was standing by the hood of his jeep that had stopped on the side of the road.

"Not sure, it just sort of... stopped. You know, just stopped working all together." Stiles sighed. He opened the hood and choked when a wave of white smoke clouded in his face.

"Fix it." Scott said quickly. Stiles shot him a glare.

"I'm not a fucking mechanic Scott. You fix this old piece of shit, I'm calling Malia." Stiles sighed as he pulled out his phone. Scott groaned and tried to toon out the conversation that Stiles was having with his ex. He looked down at the jeep, this thing should have been totaled years ago.

"Your jeep sucks." Scott called to Stiles once he knew that his friend was no longer on the phone.

"Yeah, I know, thank you Mr. Sunshine." Stiles snapped back. Scott laughed softly. Stiles was always so sarcastic and snappy, but he had the biggest heart, he was nice even nice when he insulted his best friend. Scott heard a twig snap and froze. "What?" Stiles asked anxiously.

"I heard something." Scott answered. He looked off to the left, they had stopped in the middle of the Preserve, where the road dragged on for miles, the woods on either side of them, no people for miles. Scott couldn't see anything in the woods, but that didn't mean something wasn't out there.

"Scotty, what do you think it is?" Stiles asked. Scott shrugged. Then the sound kept on getting louder and closer.

Snap.

Crunch.

Crack.

Snap.

Crunch.

Crack.

It was loud enough that Stiles could hear it now, which meant that whatever it was, it was close.

"Something big is coming." Stiles almost whispered. Scott nodded. "Should I call Derek?"

"Would Derek honestly get here in time to save us Stiles?"

"I don't know, but its worth a try." Scott watched at his friend sent off a text instead of calling. Scott could even see the message from where he was standing.

HELP, JEEP BROKE DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS, BIG SCARY THING IS COMING FOR US, HELP!!!!!

Scott would have laughed if it was a different time, but right now, that big scary thing was getting closer and Scott didn't know what to do. True Alpha be damned, school didn't prepare you for this shit.

All of a sudden, the thing came into his line of sight.

   "Oh shit." Stiles gasped.

   "I know."

   "We're totally screwed."

   "I know."

It was a Breserker, and it was coming right for them. Scott protectivly put his arm in front of Stiles.

"Stay behind me." He said. Stiles nodded.

"Gladly." He breathed. "I thought Kate was dead though, where the hell did this Breserker come from?" Stiles asked.

"I thought she was dead too. I have no idea where it came from, but it looks small, almost.... like a girl." Scott said soflty.

Girl or not, the thing attacked hard and fast. It stabbed Scott and left a deep cut in Stiles side, and then left them for dead.

"Stiles! Scott!" Derek's familiar voice called out. "What the hell happened?!" He asked. He helped Stiles to his feet and leaned him against the jeep before helping Scott carefully remove the Breserker's weird tooth knife thing.

"A Breserker." Stiles panted softly as he held his side. Derek grabbed his free hand and drained some of his pain.

"It was different though." Scott said.

"What do you mean?" Derek asked.

"It was.... I think it was a girl...."

   "A girl?" Derek asked.

"Yeah, it was smaller then the usual Breserker's that have attacked us... and her eye's.... they were so- so familiar." Scott sighed. "I don't know, but it just seemed wrong...." Derek nodded.

"Always trust your instincts Scott." Scott nodded and helped Derek carry and unconscious Stiles back to the Hale house so they could take him to Deaton's clinic and get him patched up. But the whole time... all he could think about was Allison, which was odd because he hadn't really thought of her in months. Something about this attack had triggered a memory of her.
