~~~~~ SUMMER MEMORIES ~~~~~
Introduction
It was 8:00am. I was tired as usual and didn't want to get up, but today was the day that we would fly to this small town in Kansas and visit family and friends.
"Kristina," My Mom yelled. "Get up! Keed is done with the bathroom. Hurry, we have to go in 15 minutes."
"Okay okay okay." I repeatedly said.
I walked slowly to the bathroom. I guess I wasn't aware of how sleepy I really was. My brain was 50 steps ahead of my body. As I was walking I tripped on the rug that had lain so elegantly on the hallway floor before. I picked my self back up after the trip and neatly laid the rug out to its original position. I walked to the bathroom door, turned the knob, turned on the lights ....
Getting Ready For The Trip
"MOM!" I yelled.
"Yes, Kris. What is it now?" She asked.
"Keed left the bathroom a disgusting mess. This is so nasty." I said disgusted with how the bathroom looked.
Mom walked up the long, spiral steps. When she finally came upon the last step, she turned her body so that she could move towards the bathroom. Keed came out of his room with a stupid look on his face. An expression that made me so mad.
"Get that stupid look off of your face. Your not innocent now, Keed." I said rudely.
"STOP!" My mom screamed angrily at me. "Kristina Westwood, you should know better. You are 15 years old. He is only 13. Leave him alone."
My mom always treated Keed like a baby. Anything he did, he got away with it. Anything I did~ well guess what happened next.
Keed loaded the car with all of our bags. Mom had a pretty big car for a single parent. Her car was a 2012 Jeep. Man, did I love her jeep. It was amazing. I decided to get dressed and only brush my teeth. I looked out my window and saw my mother getting ready to turn the car on. I rushed and threw all of my clothes into my bag. I found my purse and put it on. I looked for my shoes and tied them on and fixed my hair.
I grabbed all of my bags and ran down the steps quickly as possible. I loaded them up into the car and hopped in. My mom came out with the keys and turned the car on. Keed jumped into the front seat and buckled up. My mom was the last person out of the house, so she locked the door and closed the garage. She got into the car and buckled up. She then put the car into gear and drove off.
We were on our way to Kansas.
2 hours of driving.
- CHAPTER 2 -
Here We Are
12:00noon
We finally arrived in a small town in Kansas. It had more old town homes and buildings than it had modern houses. It was a very interesting place. When he pulled up to our hotel house, we were greeted with a bunch of people. All three of us got out of the car. We closed our doors and walked over to the crowd. I was greeted by a boy my age.
