Just as we were about to walk off, I felt someone tapping my right shoulder. I turned around and saw the pale but handsome face of Bryan. He looked at me and tried not to blush as he spoke.
"You must be Shirley, right?" He asked, putting his long bangs behind his ears."Yes, that is correct." I answered.
"Well, our principal, Mr Berger asked me to show you around this school. Eleanor can come along if you please,"he said politely,"By the way, I am Bryan Ford."
He brought me around the school, and showed me all the different aesthetic rooms. He also showed me to the three auditoriums in our school- one was for performances, and had a beautiful grand staircase that lead up to it, another was specifically for theatre plays, and the last was for speeches. After that, he brought me outside of the building, and to the other side of the opposite building which was a whole lane of fast food! Starting from the left, there was Mac D's , Wendy's, Burger King, Dominos, Long John Silvers, Taco Bell, and KFC. there was the strong smell of tomato sauce, bread, and meat coming from that lane. Finally, he brought me to the roof where most students often studied because of the beautiful scenery. Sure enough, there were students in small groups sitting at round tables. Some were warming up their voices, some were studying the history of music, and some were just doing some sort of art.
Eleanor cupped her hand over her mouth and whispered something to Bryan. I could see him shaking his head with a somewhat guilty look on his face. She kept whispering to him, until he finally said a few words.
"Shirley, I will just warn you to avoid coming here on the fourth Thursday of every month." He said seriously.
For that moment, I only had one question in mind: Why? And if they would not tell me, I guessed I would just have to figure it out by myself.
