I'm Your Friend

  I know I should stop
I know I should wait
But staying like this
Isn't it only tempting fate?

You've slipped up once
And so have I
But yet we're still here
Not quite reaching the sky

We both have our dreams
Which aren't the same
But in the end
It's just one big game

I mean we're best friends
I hope that's forever
I cant lose you now
And our tuesdays together

We'd laugh all the time
And have such great fun
We'd go out in the day
Even though I hate the sun

But lately we argue
And we know it's not fair
That no matter the subject
We're starting to tear

I dont want to lose you
To me you are dear
But to not see you
Makes it harder in here

You know most things about me
And I most of you
And even when we agrue
I dont want that to undo

I know we'll be great
I know we'll be fine
Coz I'll always be here
Always holding that red line

I'll be your friend
I'll be your star
And if I'm not that
I'll never be far.
