This is the first full-length, adult-themed novel that I finished at the tender age of 19. I shelved it for almost 20 years before rediscovering it and decided it had good bones, but it needed rewriting with a more mature voice and prose.
Originally titled Scandalous Grace, I have since decided to change it to Priceless. This is because as I was re-writing, the song Priceless by for King & Country hit radio and it instantly became the backbone for developing Thane's character. His view of Vanessa is summed up in this song.
Beyond that, the band held a contest on their Facebook page in May celebrating Priceless' nomination at the K Love Fan Awards.

They wanted to hear how the song had impacted the lives of their listeners. A few would be chosen to receive one of their necklaces. I figured, why not? Never did I expect to be noticed, responded to, or win! (And yes, that is me. Abby Craig is my pen name.)

I have loved this band from the moment they opened at a Casting Crowns concert, the percussion of Fix My Eyes resonating inside my soul. I've seen them twice more in concert again and would gladly go anytime I had the chance. They are not only talented musicians and songwriters, but beautiful people, and that is a powerful combination.
So, in honor of their inspiration while rewriting this novel, I decided to change the title because it's what the story is all about.
