It all started in the darkness. Sitting there huddled in the corner, all alone. My feelings are north cold and the sheer blanket barely giving me any warmth. The only light that my sight caught was reflecting from dying embers. And then he comes, illuminating my corner, providing me with warmth and affection. He swept me into his embrace, assured me that I'm safe. He made me feel loved, wanted and oh how he made me feel like I'm the only thing that mattered to him. But then I found out that his light, is spread elsewhere. Thinking of how selfish I was to want it all for myself. But is it really greedy? Thinking that you are so special to someone to make them want to light up every bit of your imagination? The light doesn't remain special once you find out everyone else has experienced it. And I had to pretend that it doesn't matter, I couldn't bare letting anyone know that I welcomed that light. Before I knew it, I'm huddling in the corner once again, with unilluminated thoughts.
