My Grandfather Saw A Wolf!?

So my grandfather (that lives in Vermont) told me that he heard a lot of howling a few days ago and their golden retriever was whimpering and stuff like that. The next day early in the morning he heard it again and on top of that his driveway alarm went off. The alarm is how he always sees animals so he looked out the window and in the driveway was a huge black dog-thing which he thinks was a wolf. I'm definitely going there next vacation now. I want to see a damn wolf
