Chapter 17

CHAPTER 17!!! Hoopla.

Niall's POV

"NIALL WAKE UP!!" I hear someone shout. I pry open my eyes and shoot straight up. URGH. My back why does it hurt so much? Oh wait. Sophia. "WHERE'S SOPHIA!!" I shout to the boys.

The boys all glance at each other and Liam steps up, "The doctor came by and said that Sophia is in a mild coma. She's been under stress for so many years and something happened recently causing her brain to shut down." Liam says.

No. No. Why?! I knew something was wrong when we came back from the mall. I should've tried harder. It's all my fault. "It's all my fault." I tell the boys. They look at me shocked. "Sophia looked really distracted and scared when we came back from the mall. I should've tried harder to find out what happened!!" I say mad at my self.

"It's not your fault. It's fine. Doctor said that she should wake up in a couple of days. She'll be fine." Zayn says comforting me. I take a deep and try to calm down. "You can go over to her room to see her. She can hear what you say. Try to trigger memories that will wake her up or do something that will make her unbelievably happy." Some doctor says.

In a second me and the boys rush down the halls to find her room. We finally come in front of a door with a whiteboard pasted on it. Sophia Calder it read. I take a deep breath and open the door walking in, the boys filling in behind me.

She looked so angelic. Her chestnut brown hair spread out on the pillow around her, her plump lips, and her long eyelashes touching her cheeks.

Sophia's POV

All I see is black and more black. I try to move any of my body part but I can't. FUCK. I feel like I'm stuck inside my body. I try to move my leg and pass out from exhaustion.

"Hey Sophia. We really miss you even tho it's only been a day. We all love you and can't wait for you to wake up. Try hard babe try hard." I hear Louis say. I smile a little at his serious voice. "SHE SMILED!!!" Louis shouts. Owwww. Hey I'm not dead buddy! I can still hear.

"I'm sorry for not being there for you! You're like my little sister and I just let you slip into a coma it's all my fault!!" Liam says breaking down. I can hear his sniffles and complete dead silence across the room. I wish I could just get up and hug all of them. I try to move my leg up and suddenly everything goes black.

Zayn's POV

Complete silence went across the room as we're all in shock of Liam breaking down. He's usually so collected but now he's a mess. Other than the beeping and sniffles from Liam everything is still silent. I look over to Sophia's bed to see her leg twitching. Suddenly her heart monitor goes flat.

"YOU GUYS CANT BE HERE!! OUT OUT!" Nurses shout as they come rushing in. We all remain frozen to our spot. The nurses eventually push us all out and slam the door in my face. She's dead. She's dead. We all know what that flat line meant. We all know it.

"She's dead." I whisper staring at the white door. "No she's not! She can't die yet! Not now!" Louis shouts pulling at his hair. We all walk over to the horrid waiting chairs and hope for good news but prepared for the worst. I don't think I could ever have been prepared for what I heard.
