Part two - Study session

*Katy's POV*

"Guys I'm home !" I hear my Dad scream though the house.

I get up from my desk and run downstairs.

"Dad, did you find anything job-wise?" I ask following him into the kitchen and sitting down at the table, facing opposite him.

"Yes I did actually I'm quite surprised, its only as an intern but it pays decently, but the only bad thing is the hours are quite long so I wont be able to see you as much as I used to, but hopefully I will get more time off if  i get promoted, that's IF they don't fire me after one day" he says laughing.

I love my dad he's so chilled and doesn't worry, I mean he does obviously but mostly he is so relaxed and funny.

"I mean we still have a lot of Grandad's money to keep us going for a bit don't we ?" I ask
"Yeah we do, so it will keep us going for awhile, anyway Kate how was school ? And what time did school finish?"
"Good, Ethan was ill so Grayson walked me, and it was nice I made some friends as well, it finished at 3 on the dot, then when we walked home-" I stopped and remembered what Grayson said to me.
"Hun what is it ?" My dad asked

"Dad, whats the time?"

"Umm" he looked at his watch then looked back up at me " 5:30 why ?"

"Grayson invited me over his at 7, can I go ?"

"Only if you get back by 10, and no funny business"

"Dad stop right there, I met the kid yesterday, I'm not Ashton" After i say that I hear footsteps behind me.

"Hey !" Aston shouts whists pulls my hair

"Ouch, you ass, I was only telling the truth !" I shout and stand up and make the chair crash into his knees.

"You bitch! That was so uncalled for!"

"Oh really? You know what else is uncalled for? Bringing you're one night hoes home but does that stop you, noooooo"

I extend the no, in a sarcastic tone and run upstairs, Ashton was chasing me, but I had a head start so I got to my room and slammed the door and locked it. I heard him bang on it a few times to get my attention, but my dad shouted at him so he stopped and walked into his room and started playing Call Of Duty, he knows I love that game so he turned up the volume till I could hear, but I didn't let that distract me.
I walked over to my desk and looked at my phone, 4 new messages, I knew who they were probably from the only two people I gave my number two, Emily and Aimeé so I unlocked my phone and they read:
Unknown Number: Hi it's Emily, text me when you see this.
Unknown Number: Hola its Aimeé , look on our group chat on Insta 😂
I text back to Emily
Kate: I've seen it...now what.
Then I text Aimeé
Kate: Kk should I be scared ?
I got a reply really quick
Aimeé: Yas yas you should 😂
I then look at the other two
Unknown Number: Hey, its Ethan sorry I wasn't in today, glad you made friends with my girlfriend.
I reply
Kate: Hi, its fine you cant help it if your sick and im glad I made friends to, Zoe was really nice to me, I had a great first day, umm weird question is Grayson home?"
After about 5 mins my phone buzzed
Ethan: Zoe is amazing, and I'm glad to hear, and yeah Grayson is home, he asked me for your number, hasn't he texted you yet ?
I quickly open the other message and sure enough it was Grayson
Unknown Number: Wear something cute 😏 -Gray
What? I am not wearing something cute for a study session, the most I will wear is a top and shorts, I text him back.
Kate: Im helping you with homework, don't get ahead of yourself .
I then place my phone on my desk then grab some clothes and get changed. I hear my ringtone go off so i run over to look at who it is and sure enough it was Grayson.
G: Hey
K: Hi...
G: Can you come over yet? I'm not getting any smarter
K: I will in a sec it's only 6:15 I thought you said 7
G: I did, but I want to see you sooner
K: Whatever
G: Baby girl don't be like that
K: One don't call me baby girl and two Fine I'll see you in 20
G: I don't know wether I can wait that long
K: Well you're going to have to, sorry
G: Oh you-
*hangs up*
I seriously cannot be bothered with him right now. I just want to go to his house and get this over and done with.
So I put on my makeup and run downstairs and then look at my phone, the time was 6:45, I sighed as I walked into the living room.
"Hey hun, whats the matter?" My Dad asked looking away up from his laptop
