I was running as fast as I could to the one place I new that could regain my thoughts... The park.
I finally arrived at the park and found a tree near a lake. Sat down and let out all of my emotions flow out of me like a river.
Even though it was late at night I didn't care, the cool, crisp air and the dark starry night calmed me. As I sit here slowly trying to putting the pieces of my heart back together I remember. I can't go back home, I can't face Dan, at least not today not in the state that I am in.
Then I remember that an old friend of mine lives close by. I decided to call Max and hopefully I could stay the night at his just so I can rest up and be prepared to face the man that helped my through the good and the bad time in my life. Hopefully I can get him back. After ringing him up and telling him what happened he told me that I could stay.
[ time skip ]
"And now I am here telling you the story" you sign. "Wow, I am sure that everything will work out fine with you guys. You guys are inseparable, 2 peas in a pod, you guys are like the same person, you too can't live without each other." Max says reassuringly. "Yeah I hope so. " you say with a weak smile. "you better go get some rest y/n. "Night" max says with a yawn. "Night".
[ -next morning- you leave Max's the next morning house you decide to leave a note saying thanks you for letting you say at his house. You are now walking up the street to your flat ]
You finally make your way to your door and fumble with your keys. You slowly open your door trying not to make any loud noises that could wake Dan. You slowly walk up the stairs and when you do you hear the loud stomping of feet rushing down the stairs. As you walk more into the room you are dramatically picked up off your feet and spun in the air. You giggle a little remembering how weird Dan can be. The sets you down and runs out if the room. He comes back with a Bouquet of flowers, (put your favorite video game), and a bunch of sweets. "Y/n I am so so so so so so sorry for last night. I didn't mean anything I said I was so drunk,it was making me say thing I didn't mean,I didn't know where half the words we coming from. I don't know what I would do if I lost you, please, please, PLEASE forgive me!!" Dan says with big red puffy eyes and his words were all smashing into one another.
You were just starring into his big brown eyes which you loved so much. You loved how passionate he was with his words and his work. He is your world and you are his everything. "Of course Dan I forgive you, how could I not. Besides we fought over something so stupid. You mean so much to me. Nothing that stupid could break us apart, not even my cringe worthy jokes." You say jokingly. "Welllll, I mean, you know... " He says with a smirk. " Hey don't be mean " you say laughing. You two hug for what felt like years. Once you pull apart you both slowly lean in and kiss.
You felt sparks fly and you got butterflies all over again just like how you did when you both first kissed. You both pull apart and smile at one another. You both are so happy that everything is back to normal.
"I love you so much y/n" Dan say with the biggest grin. " Not as much as I love you. " you say back as you put your head against his chest with your eyes closed listening to the steady beat of his heart.
"That's impossible." Dan say, with warm smile knowing he can hold you like this forever.
