Prologue: How The Story Begins.

Kelly Oubre Jr. and Mikayla Stewart. Mikayla: Dance Captain, 17, Senior. Kelly: Shooting Guard/Small Forward, 17, Senior. Kelly and Mikayla's parents were really close. Their parents were bestfriends, therefore, they spent a lot of time with each other and they became bestfriends. As they went through the years, Kelly began to talk to other girls but has never been in an official relationship. He only had one deal breaker with every girl. He looked for them to remind him of his bestfriend. He knew from the start of freshman year in high school, that he had begun to fall in love with the girl whom he affectionately called his bestfriend, he was careful to not make any advances because he didn't want to ruin what they have. At the same time, while Kelly was trying to cope with his feelings, Mikayla was still struggling to accept hers. One day Kelly just invited Mikayla to come over and watch a couple movies with him. Kelly suddenly couldn't control himself and kissed the girl he called his bestfriend.

Devin Armani Booker and Taessa "Tae" Saldana. Taessa: Dance Co-Captain, 17, Senior. Devin: Shooting Guard, 17, Senior. Senior Year. Mrs. Alexander's Life Science class. Wednesday, February 18th, 2017. The day Devin Booker, officially met, Tae. Mrs. Alexander assigns the class a project of taking care of a baby. Partners Devin and Tae experience things together, all for the sake of the baby. Tae and Devin are at two completely different ends of the spectrum, or so we think. Tae's a scholar. Straight A student! Devin just wants to play basketball and fulfill the duties of the typical varsity jock. Kiss his girlfriend and play basketball and get that sports scholarship. The project, reveals things about the other, that nobody would bear to think. Devin's girlfriend, Aaliyah, isn't perfect as she seems. Devin isn't that bad of a person. He has two different personalities. The other Devin, that nobody sees, is going to surprise you.

D'Angelo Russell and Wadeline Monet Harris. Wadeline: Dance Lieutenant, 17, Senior. D'Angelo: Point/Shooting Guard, 17, Senior. D'Angelo Russell. He was popular, he had it all. Great life, great parents, amazing grades and to top it all off, a scholarship to the University of Kentucky. To D'Angelo, something was missing. He's seen her around the school, she saw him too. But to her, jock guys, weren't all that. If D'Angelo wanted Wadeline, she was going to have him begging on his knees. Literally. Wadeline was going to bring out a side of D'Angelo, he thought he never had.
