Now years has passed and Kimberly is now 21 years old. She moved out of her dad's house and didn't have to put up with his abuse anymore. Kimberly hasn't seen her mom in 5 years now. " I've researched everything and still cannot find her," cried Kimberly. 2 months later she met a new boyfriend. Tweet-tweet her phone buzzed, it was a text message from her new boyfriend Trey. " Can't wait to see you again I have to ask you a very important question" it read. " who was it,"said Jasmine. "Yeah," said Bella. "It's my boyfriend," answered Kimberly. "Wooaah," screamed her friends. One hour later, Kimberly called her uncle,
asking where her mother might be. Kimberly's uncle wasn't sure, but would call her when he found anything. About a week later, Kimberly's uncle called her. "Hello," said Kimberly "hey," replied her uncle " I think I might have found where your mother might be," he said. "Really,"replied Kimberly "yes," her uncle said. He told Kimberly her mother's address. Knock Knock Knock Knock. "Hello,"said Kimberly's mother. When mom saw Kimberly she quickly shut the door. Before she had the chance Kimberly stuck her foot in the door. Kimberly's mom was 38 and had Kimberly at 17. "Mom I want to talk to you,"said Kimberly. "Well I DON'T!"said mom. "Please I...I just want to know what I did to deserve this!"said Kimberly. Mom opened the door all the way and said,"meet me at the coffee shop and we'll talk there." "Okay," said Kimberly. Kimberly arrived early but mom came almost 45 minutes later. Kimberly started to cry as she said "I'm sorry I don't know what I did and I've been looking for you everywhere. I want to know why you left?" asked Kimberly. "Baby girl you didn't do a thing," said Kimberly's mom. " Its just your father he was getting really violent, and he would have found me if I took you." "Well how would he have found you if he didn't find you now?" asked Kimberly.
