Chapter 9 A kiss?!

Dear diary I was still trapped in the storage room with Brad but something almost happened and I wished it did happen .

Me and Brad waited 1 hour for my mom to get us buy she couldn't hear us so I found a radio and turned it on , I start dancing to the beat and I start shaking my hips to the music , I can see Brad staring holes at me . Suddenly I hear Brad get up and put his arms around my waist moving to the beat to the music , i turn around facing him and our faces are nearly a centimetre away . Then Brad leans in and i find myself leaning in too . we were about to kiss but then my mom barged in looking away while me and Brad jump away from each other .

" did i interrupt something " mom asked .

" nope ....im just gonna go ..... bye kat " Brad coughs then leaves . I look at my mom and she looks at me knowing what was gonna happen , before she can talk i quickly run upstairs and up to my bedroom , slamming the door shut thinking that me and Brad were about to kiss .......Oh god.

Brads Pov

I quickly run out of her house and into my car thinking we were about to kiss , i was this close but Mrs. winters came in , im kinda sad that we didn't kiss .........I need a cold shower ( for the dirty minded people out there u know what a cold shower means ;) )

1 week later

Ever since that day me and Kat has been distanced but I wanna just go up to her and kiss her but I can't cuz I think she doesn't like me back I think she likes Ollie .

"Sup man " Micheal and me do a bro hug .

"Hey" I reply

"U going to Kats party after school "

"Ya "

"Can I ask u a question Micheal "

"Sure "

"Does Kat like Ollie "

Micheal stares at me for a few seconds but then laughs.

"Dude she doesn't , Ollie has a girlfriend and Kat and him are like brothers "

Yes my Kat doesn't like him....Woah I just said my Kat .

" Can I give u advise " Micheal grabs my shoulder and says " if u like Kat then tell her dude I'm pretty sure she likes u too" He then leaves me by the lockers alone. He's probably right I'll tell her at the party

Kats pov

AHHHH I'm so exited my birthday is Today and I can't wait but my mom said I have to dress fancy so I already picked put my dress now it's time to do my hair . I curl my hair then I put all my hair on the right side , pinning it at the back and put my silver earings on and my silver necklace on. I go downstairs to see my mom and dad smiling at me .

"Honey u look so pretty " My mom takes pictures while dad kisses my forhead . I see the boys in suits and on their phone .

"OMG KAT " I turn around to see my bestfriend Chrissy .

"AHHHH" We both scream as we hug each other . I checked the time it was 3 and the party starts at 6 so I had time . The boys + I all caught up with Chrissy and her and Sally are friends now . It was now 6 and we all were in the ballroom (ik I didn't know we had one until they showed me it) We all are welcoming guests and they all say happy birthday to me while I thank them for coming but I seem to be looking for someone .

"Ehem looking for someone " Micheal smirks .

"U-uh n-no why would u say that " I smile nervously.

"Look if ur looking for Brad his family just got out of the car .......u know u should tell Brad u like him "

"I DO NOT" I lie

"Look Kat I see the way u look at him and I'm pretty sure he likes u too so tell him " He leaves me and goes to Chrissy . Maybe I should ........ya I'm gonna to it at the end of the party .
