From South Korea all the way to the United States of America, Jeon Jungkook travelled. In 2009, he left his old, boring life behind to start fresh. He was tired of the country he was born and raised in. Sure, there's more cities in Korea he could visit, but those are probably just as boring as Busan and Seoul. He has already visited the west coast of the USA as a tourist, so he wasn't interested in going back, even though he only visited California. The boy was sure all the other states on that side of America were the same. Southeastern America sounded much more exciting since he knew little to nothing about it.

The airplanes flew the young man to the Atlanta Airport in Georgia, and a white taxi van drove him to the nearest hotel. He hasn't bought a place to live, yet. He hasn't even swapped out his currency!

Jungkook brought a ton of luggage with him, mostly his clothes, accessories and necessary toiletries. As soon as he walked through the revolving doors, the only avaliable hotel porter, also known as a bell-hop, rushed over to him with incredible speed and helped him carry his bags to the room he had booked online.

Jeon Jungkook sat down on the uncomfortable hotel bed and took out his laptop. He had some serious house hunting to do. He didn't want to live in the city because it reminded him of Seoul. Instead, he figured a small town would be more ideal; the town named Ringgold, perhaps. And with that, Jungkook's new life awaits him.

--------

On the other hand, a man named Kim Taehyung came to America for a new beginning and a swift end. His destination was slightly north of Jungkook's in a different state; Tennessee. He didn't bring but just a backpack. It only contained a single change of clothes, a toothbrush, some toothpaste, hair brush, laptop, and some books on Tornados, for he wasn't planning on being here long. He wasn't planning to stay on Earth much longer.

Taehyung had been researching tornadoes for a few years prior to his big move. He found them absolutely fascinating. He kept himself up to date on all tornado activity in the United States of America, where they were most common. 2011, April 14th through April 16th, he would be found glued to his computer. A fatal tornado outbreak struck an area called 'Dixie Alley.' The Dixie Alley stretches across many states in the Eastern States. Long, strong, and speedy tornadoes frequented this area during the so-called 'tornado season.' Taehyung wanted to see a tornado outbreak in person, and immediately, he came to the United States.

Once he arrived at the Chattanooga airport in Tennessee, he walked straight to the nearest bank to get his South Korean Won exchanged to the U.S Dollar. After that, he booked a hotel room for 2 weeks out. There, he sat and continued following the storms like he would in Daegu, only now he didn't have to use his laptop. He could watch it on the television on the weather channel. Thank you, American cable company.

-------

The black sky rumbled angrily as lightening repeatedly struck the earth. The weather channel repeated the same tornado warning through the television. Jungkook watched the screen intently. He, then, sighed heavily as his county's name scrolled across the bottom of the screen. He was in danger.

The tornado siren began to go off, signalling a tornado has been spotted nearby. The siren sounded a long, constant tone that's significantly louder than the horrible storm. The house walls trembled due to the extreme force of the roaring wind.

Jungkook immediately grabbed his phone and his faithful companion, and ran downstairs to the basement. He shut and locked the door behind him before making his way down his creaky old oak wood steps. He grabbed an electric lantern he had hung up on the wall for an emergency like this and made his way as far away from the door as possible. He and his dog, Gureum, huddled up in the corner, both equally terrified. Tornadoes - and English - were the things that Jungkook deeply despised about America.
