We finally arrived at 3:45 P.M Saturday evening. A crowd of people swarmed the area. Men smoking, girls crying, boys holding the girls from crying. We weren't moving, I WAS.
      "Charlie, I can't do this." I breathed, keeping a smile on my face.
      "Ash, it's gonna be okay." He whispered.
      "Ash." He said grabbing my arm.
      "Stop crying." He commanded me, wiping my tears.
      "I can't. I don't want to die." I shivered
      "Come here," he said, directing me behind a stage.
      "Ash." He said holding me to the wall, much like Griffin did.
      "You aren't gonna be alone, I will not allow it." He mumbled.
      "You don't know that! If I'm sold, I could be sliced open and fed to animals!" I explained. Before I could say more, Charlie slammed his lips to mine. He kissed me. He let go of my arms, and wrapped his around my waste. He pulled away. My face was pale, shocked, what just happened?
      "I won't allow it." He breathed.
      "Ok." I hesitated to answer.
      "Next up, we have Alyssa, fourteen-" Griffin announced. Charlie helped me onto the stage. Of course I had a huge smile across my face. I WAS JUST KISSED!
     "250," a voice said.
     "300.40" another yelled.
      "690!" One shouted.
       "Come on folks, she's young, still perfect for all your needs!" Griffin explained into the mic.
       "1,000," explained another voice.
        "1328!" Another yelled. I looked to Charlie in fear. He mouthed to me, "let it happen." And so I did, for some reason I felt as if he had this under control.
      "3000!" One man said. Charlie grew a smile to the bid.
     "5000!" Another yelled, Charlie's face frowned.
     "6385!" The man Charlie agreed with yelled. Charlie clapped.
    "7000!" The other man said.
   "Going once," Griffin explained.
   "Going twice..."
"SOLD! To the man in white." Griffin shouted, pointing to the man. I ran off the stage in fear.
     "Charlie," I cried. He hugged me.
       "Shh, ash. It's going to be okay," he explained.
        "I'll come back for you," he kissed my forehead.
         "Promise?" I sniffled.
          "I promise." He hugged me tightly. And with that, Chemical grabbed my arm, and she followed the man on white.
