More than a week had past and I had had decided that it was time to give Tim an answer. I grabed my board and headed to the skatepark.
I had walked up to Tim and he gave me a huge hug. I wasn't expecting that.
"What's up cutie?", he asked with an enourmous smile, "Are you going to give me your answer now?"
"Well...", I hesitated, "You're way older than me, but I think I could give us a chance."
Tim's face lit up like a Chritsmas tree.
He imediately asked for a kiss. I had nothing to lose, so I gave him a nice peck on the lips.
Since Tim was nineteen years old, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know much about him either, like if he was a virgin or not (which I think he wasn't). Well, I was and I didn't know if Tim try to make me do something that I wasn't ready for.
Tim was really affectionate for the rest of the day. I found out that he smoked, cigarettes and marijuana. Even though I wasn't into that kind of stuff, I didn't mind. Whenever he smoked, I just kept a distance.
The next day, I went to the park and Tim wasn't there. I didn't know where he lived, so I would only see him at the skatepark. He had to work too, so I never really got to see him at all.
Time away from Tim actually gave me time to think. What was the point of the relationship if I never got to see him? Was I even ready for a relationship with I guy who was a lot older then me? Tim would always say that age is just a number, but it still bothered me.
And what about Jessica? We were still friends. I still had a chance to tell her how I feel. The worst think that could happen is that she doesn't feel the same and my heart gets broken.
I felt the anxiety kicking in.
