"Mikayla?". He spoke
"Jay?"
"Miss Lastly, Mr. Jhonson pay attention". Said Mrs. Lenny the teacher.
I turned around after Jay giving me a long stare down that kind of freaked me out.Jay and I had a past, I had a huge crush on him in sixth grade. I told the wrong person I had a crush on Jay, and that person spilled the beans all over the table. Once Jay found out I had a crush on him he laughed in face, which felt bad. That's not all though he told me he never did or never will have any feelings for me. So maybe that's why I don't believe in all the love crap but hey look at me I am fine and hungry. When is lunch?.Food....What was I talking about.
The bell went off and I quickly got up to leave when Jay stepped in front of me. I slowly looked up at his green eyes that looked a little too focused on me, it made me feel a little subconscious.
"Hey Mikayla I haven't seen you here before".
"Oh well I am not so popular so I am pretty sure that a lot of people don't really know me. I am not saying I am a nobody an-".
"I see you still ramble when you are nervous". He said with a smile. I smile at his small memory of me.
Jay and I used to be best friends, until he became more famous in school. Once he became more popular he stopped talking to me. Then he got a girlfriend in eighth grade and I got a little pop of jealousy. That's kind of how i found out I liked him.
One of Jay's friends call him over from the door. We both turn our heads, then Jay looks back at me again saying he see me around then left.I was a bit shooked up since I haven't talk to him since he laughed in my face. Why would I still talk to him anyways?. Aww shit why did I talk to him?.
I walk out to got to lunch and find Dee and Mel. I have known them since third grade. They are like my sisters. I see them sitting at a table and go up to them.
"There you are Milkyway". Said Mel.
"We've been waiting here for hours waiting for your lazy ass". Dee said groaning loudly.
"Oh quit your wining I was not that late". I said putting my crap down and getting in line for some plastic tasteless food. Yay!.
Out of no where I mean no where Jay comes up behind me looking at my tray chuckling.
"What's so funny?". I said a bit harshly not wanting him around, after thinking about what happened with him and our relationship.
"Wow... okay nothing just looking at how you plate is full and looks like a mountain but your still slim thick with your cute ass". He said smirking at me.
Does he think this is funny. It is hard keeping my figure when I love food so much. Ugh boys can get on my nerves,especially this one.
"Just stop talking Fetty". I said rolling my eyes at him and walking away.
"Hey, that kid right there has a bright future of having his eyes popped out if they keep staring at you". Viv my other friend that sat with us shortly after said.
I look over to Viv's attention to see Jay staring at me. He then winks at me, I start blushing. I mentally slap myself for blushing. Ugh what is happeni-. Oh no are those butterflies in my stomach... Crap I am f*cked.
