Immortal hunter

chapter one

Blaze's pov

I need to find him, so I can end his life. I leave the kitchen and go up to my room. Where I remove my shirt. I see another burn across my chest. Yes these demon's are all fire and brimstone.

I need to sleep. It will be nothing but another scar by morning.

I wake to wolfie seeming on edge. " What's wrong boy ". He growl's toward's the door. I get up and go down stair's I'm following wolfie. He stop's by the front door growling. I open the door a little.

When I do, I see the girl I helpped the day before. " Yes what do you want ". She smile's and says. " I have come to invite you to my families ball ". I look at her as if she is mad or something.

" Why would I want to go to your family ball ". She smile's again. " My way of saying thank you for saving me yesterday ". I nod and take the card she passes to me. She says goodbye and leave's.

I shut the door and look at Wolfie. " She is going to be a pain, I can feel it ". He roll's his eye's and walk's off in to the kitchen.

Amorette's pov

I asked my Father the King of the Vampire realm, if I could invite someone to the ball. He said I could.

 I tell him, I'm inviting Blaze the man that saved me from the demon's he says that it's a good idea.

He would like to thank Blaze for saving me. I write out an invite to Blaze and then go to the human realm and follow his scent to a house in the human village.

I knock on the door, I hear a dog or what sound's like a dog bark. I wait for the door to open when it does, I see Blaze and not a dog.

 He has a hellhound as a pet. " Hi I have come to ask you to my families ball ".

He seem's stunned. " What are you talking about ". I smile and hand a card which is a invite to the ball, I then turn and walk away from him.

As I do, I feel a sense of loss. How strange I have only met him once.

Anyway I go back to my own realm to get ready for the big ball tonight.

Blaze's pov

Why in hell would she think, I would want to go to her stupid ball, I have other thing's to do like find this vampire/demon.

He stole my life now I'm going to take his life, not prance around some stupid ball.

I throw the card on the table and do breakfast for me and wolfie. " Do you think we will find him today boy ".

 He look's away and then wait's by his bowl for his food, I serve his breakfast and then sit at the table.

As I eat my toast, I look at the invite. Maybe this demon is hiding in the vampire world, this could be my ticket to getting what I want.

So maybe I will be going to this ball after all.
