The Wish [ON HOLD]

Part III

     "So, what did you want to ask me?" I say as I walk up to Jack. I hope it's what I think.
     "So... umm.... ya know how our moms aren't that good of parents? Well, um, I'm running away." Jack says, "I wanted to ask if you would come with me. It would be so much better. I already have my bag packed. I've been saving up for a while and I've been waiting to tell you. I mean, it's fine if you don't want to go...but, the point is...I like you, and I don't want to loose you when I go. But I have to." He steps closer to me. "There's no pressure on wether or not you want to go." He cracks a smile, "The good part is that we will get away from our parents."
     I have to say yes. I can't leave him alone out there. What about my friends? Will they miss me? Whatever. I made my decision. I'm going with Jack. "Yes. I would never leave you alone out there. When should we leave?  I have to get my bag packed and then I will meet you here." I say.
     "Ok thank you. I will wait for you here." He says.
     I walk away and glance one more time at him before he disappears into the foggy air of summer.
