A new start.

Hey, my name is Lyra. I am a thirteen year old girl, I have long strawberry blonde hair, my face is covered in freckles and I have a beautiful, cheerful smile.

I have just come off the phone with my boyfriend and he sounded unsure of what he wanted to happen in our relationship, whether he wanted it to continue or if it needed to end. The last time I saw him was on Christmas Eve, he came over and we exchanged presents, I haven't heard from him since. I am getting worried.

For Christmas I got a brand new tablet! So I was finally able to talk to all my mates again! :) It was about 7:52 when I received a text from Jason. I had never spoken to Jason before, I hardly knew him. I knew him through my friends relationships with him but I wasn't actually friends with him. He text me saying "Hey xx" I barley knew him and he hardly knew me and he was sending me kisses!?!?!

About five minutes afterwards I got a call from my girlfriend, I accepted the call and I realised that Jason was on the call as well. It was the first time I actually spoke to him. We all started talking and laughing, listening to music and just being teenagers... But then my tablet died! :(

I put it on charge and turned it back on it was on 1%! I looked on messages and got a text from Jason that said "Will you go out with me? Xx" Again two kisses!? I had to reply because he was actually not that bad. I was hesitant of what to say...
"Haha! That's a joke! xx" I sent kisses back to be nice.
He text back within a split second! "It's not xx"
"We only just started talking! Xx"
"I know x"
"So swear that it is not a dare?"
"Swear xx"
He tried calling me but my tablet was still on 1% so I sent him a text to let him know.
"I can't except calls my tab is on 1% :( x"
He text me back a couple of minutes later "K xx"
I didn't want to stop talking to him...
"Tell me about yourself, everything you like and don't like xx"
I was expecting favourite songs, food, hobbies etc, but instead he tells me everything he likes in a girl.
"I like a girls with talent, like you and I like talking to people. I don't like bossy girls or girls who cheat. Tell me bout you xxx"
I was shocked because I don't know what talent I have. I am just a shy girl who goes red if I get picked to answer a question and I don't know the answer. Nothing special. And this is coming from a boy who barley knows me!
I had to think about what to reply...

Walks in the rain
Happy/sad tears
Random phone calls/texts
Romantic dates
A playful relationship

I honestly don't think he knew what to reply, it took a while to get one. But when I did he said "I could do all of that! And it is not a challenge for me xx"
I didn't understand what he meant "what do you mean? Xx"
"I have problems with girls like that all the time so I can handle it."
And another one! "What percent it your phone on? Xxx"
"Still on 1 :("
"K xx"
I text him because it was getting late and I was sleepy
"I have got to go now, sorry I am getting tired :( Night xx"
"K night baby xx"
Omfg!!!!!! Baby?? We are not even together. Oh, but this made me realise that I maybe do. Is that stupid? It's only a word, and anyone could of said it. I decided not to reply to that message and go to bed...
