The Job

Lucy's P.O.V
I had to pay for rent... Ugh! I need to find a job and fast!
I can't go to father... He'll realize I ran away, it's not like he would care about my disappearance, until there is an arranged marriage, that's when he'll start looking.
"Dammit, I wish I was 18!" I mumble to myself. Most jobs here are 18 and older, only I'm 17. Why?!
Levy's lucky she has a great job at the library, being a librarian must be fun, for her at least, that bookworm.
Erza has a great job at the bakery, considering how much she loves strawberry cheese cake. Ugh all my friends have a job just right for them.
Even Juvia and all she cares about is her Gray~Sama, I remember when she thought I was looking at Gray last year so she called me 'love rival', until summer came and she realized I didn't like Gray.
Juvia's job is being a lifeguard at an indoor/outdoor waterpark.
I was walking around looking at help wanted posters, while also walking Plue, my white dog.
I saw an interesting sign, then I frowned once I read it.

"Maid... Seriously, I'll try for the job, and if I get it I will not tell anyone about this... It's my secret!" I mumbled to myself again a little more louder though.

I dialed the number...
"Hello." A man's voice said, hopefully that's Mr. Dragneel.
"Umm hi I saw a flyer about a maid position and I was wondering if I could try for the job? I'm 17 by the way."
"Ahh yes, that flyer well, come by my place in 2 hours and we can do an interview. I live in the mansion on Hargeon St. Is that alright with you Ms..."
"Oh! It's Lucy, Lucy Heartfilia! And yes that's fine with me."
"Heartfilia, Eh... Well ok see you in 2 hours." He says and hangs up.
Wow! I'll have a job... Maybe... Well I have to get ready.
-Time Skip-
I walked inside a large mansion and sat on a couch a maid named Virgo directed me to.
"Oh hello, you must be here for the maid position, well aren't you a cutie, my name is Gradine, Igneel Dragneel's wife, if you need anything just let me know." Gradine said, I nodded.
"I'm Lucy Heartfilia, and thank you." I said she looked shocked then she smiled.
"Heartfilia, are you Jude Heartfilia's daughter?"-I nodded-"Well I should have known you look just like your mother! We were really great friends!" She said, I nodded and looked down when she mentioned my mother, the only one who cared for me my old home, the parent that truly loved me. The parent that was first to... Die.
"Oh I'm sorry if that was a touchy subject..." She said apologetically. Just then a man with red hair walked in, in his late 30's I'm guessing. That's probably Mr. Dragneel.
"Well hello Ms. Lucy, I'm sorry for the wait!" He said apologetically, I told him it was no problem and that Gradine kept me company.
Then we were talking about the job, my grades, and life. Until...
"Well Ms. Lucy you've got the job, you will be a maid for my son and daughter, Natsu and Wendy. You will do their every need, well not 'every' need. And you will be living here starting tomorrow morning at 8:00." He said, I nodded, great now another secret to keep...
"Thank you Master, I'm looking forward to it." I said bowing I walked out the door and went home, and started getting packed for tomorrow.
