The ticking clock
My provoking thoughts
Fingers tapping
To an unknown beat
I look around
Emptiness
It's just me
The clock
The empty walls
I sit alone
I feel as empty
As the room I'm sitting in
But I realise
I'm not alone
I've never been alone
You are here
You've never left me
Why are you here?
Loneliness
You follow me
Everywhere I go
