I drove down the road in my Silver 2010 Jeep. I had the heaviest pain in my chest and a heavy weight on my shoulders ever since I started driving.
I tried to push the pain away.
I turned on my radio to "Rock n' Roll all night."
Great song.
I turned the corners of every street to get to my simple destination. The sun had finally set on the horizon as it went dark. The only thing illuminating the street was the street lights.
I unbuckled my seat belt and turned down my radio. Not bothering to take the keys out knowing that my car wouldn't get stolen.
I looked at my destination see the lights were off. I walked closer 'til I saw a manly figure in the distance.
"Hey! Do you know if this place is closed?" I yelled to him.
He stepped out of the shadows. I could only see his Nose and mouth from the blockage of his hair not letting the light hit his eyes.
I looked closer by squinting my eyes. I looked where on of his hands was clutched super tightly.
The L formation of what he was clutching wasn't clicking in my mind.
I shouted to him again. "Are you gonna answer me or just stand there?" I asked as calmly as I could. Getting agravaided fastly.
Bad idea.
I suddenly figured out what was by his side.
A gun.
My eyes widenened. He knew I knew he had a gun. I mentally cursed myself for leaving my phone in my car. Thinking it would be in and then out.
He pulled the gun in front of him. His fore finger ever so lightly on the trigger. The tears swelled my eyes.
I quickly turned around. Thinking this was just a stupid delusion.
I always thought this would only happen in the movies. This happened so fast. I knew I was in a fighting battle I was going to lose.
My feet tried to make a step before he said words that made my heart drop.
"Move one more step and I'll pull the trigger."
I stopped and turned around. Still being unable to see his eyes.
I Slowly took a step back not turning around.
Everything was in slow motion as I heard the gunshot. The bullet moving ever so slowly towards me. The man put the gun down and stood there. Motionless.
The loud yelp came from my mouth as the sky slowly turned up in front of me. All I could here were my gurgles coming from my mouth. I screwed my eyes closed as I slowly and cautiously put my hands over the newly gauge in my liver.
I slowly opened my eyes. The gurgles now never ending coming from my mouth.
I saw the man now hovering over me. My small bloody hand came up and fisted onto his shirt.
"Why doesn't anyone ever listen to me?"
With that my hand fell onto the gravel as I Wimpered in pain as I coughed up blood while he laid the gun down and walked away.
I tried to get up on my feet.
Tried.
I got onto my feet for a breif second before falling hardly onto my back.
I slowly looked around as I saw the video camera on the wooden poll of the street light.
I broken shaky sigh came from my chest.
Everything got Blurry. I knew I wouldn't live.
Only 19 years into my life.
I left to go to a cake shop, for my moms 50th birthday.
The tears came from my eyes never ending.
The last thing I said to my mom. So unforgetful. 'Mom I love you. Im getting your Birthday Surprise. Ill be back in fifteen minutes.'
My friends got the worst one of all. 'Bye. See you guys tomorrow. Love ya.'
I wish I was in my bathroom looking at my complection. Looking at everything my life was made of.
I could faintly hear the Sirens.
This was the end.
This is what dying feels like.
This was my last time breathing. Living. Seeing the earth.
A man came by my side and picked my up. I took my hand and clutched his shirt.
"You have to keep your eyes open. Hun. You have to."
It took all my strength and willpower to say my last words.
"Tell everyone I've every knew or loved... This was life as we knew it."
I felt my body go limp as everything shadowed out and my eyes rolled to the back of my head. The darkness consumed me. I was a goner.
---------------If you are going to comment----------------
This happens to so many people. In a matter of minutes you can find yourself choking on your last breath. I made this story on one thing. The thing that has kept me going for so long.
Daydreaming.
You never know what is going to happen so make sure every goodbye can last a lifetime.
This is the most touching thing I think any one could ever read.
This basically just showed you how fast something bad could happen.
You might think.
"Im not going to die on the walk home."
So did Travion Martin. So did all the other victims of mass murder.
This isn't a joke.
But, death isn't the saddess thing ever.
It happens sooner or later.
We just all hope its later.
Stay strong Gorgeous.
"The only thing scarier about darkness is never being able to see the light."
