Riley Cameron

"Good morning, Quinn." I whispered to my sleeping roommate. And as expected, still asleep. Oh, he's making me do it. I take the bucket I brought with me and smirked. I positioned myself and poured the water at him. "Wake up and cook for me, you dork." I chuckled like a dork.

He suddenly opened his eyes and stood up. "What the-why did you do that?" he asked. I knew it. I pointed at his chest and gave him a smirk. "Because I'm awesome." I said, crystal clear. He gave me a glare and threw his stinky and wet shirt at me. "WHAT THE FREAK! QUINN!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. He chuckled and ran away.

"Get back here, you dork." I said and ran after him. When I got out of his room, he's nowhere to be seen. Oh, I'll find you and I will kill you. I smirked to that thought. I went to the kitchen first. I looked at the counter.. he's not there.

I was breathing heavily. I checked the other rooms but he's not there. There's only one room I haven't checked. The bathroom. I ran to the bathroom and went inside. "Quinn, come out!" I said as I smashed the door hard.

"You need to feed me or else I'll die!" I shouted and fake cried, hoping he'll come out, but no luck. "Quinn?" I called him as I stopped my act. I slowly walked out of the bathroom. "Hey, did you die already?" I laughed jokingly, but inside, I'm nervous as hell.

I was about to walk to the living room when suddenly the lights suddenly died. "MOMMY!" I shouted as I run to wherever my shaking legs take me. "QUINN! F YOU! F YOU! F YO-" My screams where cut off when I bumped into something hard, making me fall at my back. I cursed under my breath when I felt the pain come.

But of course, my mind, being the stupid thing it is, thought of something that is totally not perfect for my situation, and made me laugh. Ugh, it had to be now.

"Is this the part where I take you to an asylum?" A voice interrupted, making me stop my laugh. I can feel my cheeks get hot as I was being pulled by the person in front me, who I think is Quinn. "I hate you, you dork." I murmured when I got my posture back and quickly walked away.

I heard him chuckle and at the same time, the lights flickered open. I didn't turn around and just continued walking when I heard footsteps come my way. "Riley! Wait up!" Quinn shouted and eventually, reached me. He grabbed my hand, causing me to stop at my tracks.

He turned me around slowly, pulling me closer. Too close, too close, too close, I shouted in my mind while my heart was pounding fast like it's chasing something. I didn't even realize that I was closing my eyes and giving in. I waited for something to touch my lip, but there was nothing.

Instead, I heard him whisper something in my ear. "Choose one." he said in a husky voice. "Lips or Big Mac?" My eyes quickly open and gave him a surprised look. "Wh-what?" I stuttered and pushed him quickly.

He chuckled and surprised me with a kiss. My eyes widen as I pushed him once again. "You pervert!" I shouted and ran away. I didn't even noticed that I'm already at my bedroom. I examined the place and a certain thing caught my eye. I reached for it and hugged it in my arms. And at that moment, tears fell.

It was a family picture. A picture of my family. A picture of the family that I lost right in front of my eyes. I smiled between my tears when a memory came in my mind.

"Riley, go help your Mommy in the kitchen." Daddy said while pointing at the kitchen. "But Daddy, I wanna help fix my bike!" I whined and pouted. He chuckled and pinched my cheeks softly.

"Riley, Daddy's going to ask a question and you have to answer it honestly, okay?" he asked and let go of my cheeks. "What are you going to do when Mommy & Daddy gets taken by a mean man and never come back?"

I hugged Daddy and answered the question easily, oblivious of what's really going on. "I'm going to find you two," I said and gave him a big grin. "and I'm not gonna cry."

My thoughts were interrupted when my phone rang. I stood up and wiped the tears harshly. I need to fix this, I thought. I put the frame on my bed and reached for my phone. There was a message from from Quinn.

'Penny for the thought the made you laugh earlier?' Quinn.

I rolled my eyes and replied back.

'It's not important.' Me.

'Oh yeah? Try me." Him.

I sighed, giving up.

'Fine, just don't say I didn't warn you.' Me.

I took a deep breath and typed my reply.

'I usually don't panic, but if I do, I do it at the disco. Happy?'

I didn't get a reply from him after that. Huh, that jerk. I was about to put my phone back on my night stand when it rang once again. This time, it was a call from an unknown number. I hesitated, but answered it anyway. Well, curiosity got the best of me. "Hello?" I spoke.
