Zayn's POV

I gave Aparna a dirty look, as she sped down the stairs toward the kitchen to make some tea. I also saw that the slut was also miserably failing to make sure her dhupatta didn't drop away from her boop crack.

"All right then," Mr. Awasthi began. "We all know that this is a Hindu-Muslim marriage, but I couldn't resist Yaser's offer, especially due to him being my childhood friend with a golden heart. Toh maine socha, we were friends for the longest time, and still are, so let's become relatives!"

"Yes of course! Cheers!" Dad replied. "All right, so I guess the engagement party will take place at the end of this month, and we shall have Zayn and Aparna married by the beginning of next month! Is that fine with you?"

"Sounds great!" Mum whooped in excitement. I grimaced at her excitement, and the fact that my family wasn't aware that I lied about breaking up with Perrie. Yes, I'm still seeing her on the sly.

"Also, what are Anjali's marriage plans?" Dad beamed at Anjali, who returned a small smile while Rohan's grip around her waist turned tighter.

Mr. Awasthi got up from his seat, acting like he simply wished to turn on the light to brighten up the room, but his scheme was too transparent. I think every single person in the room observed that he "bumped" into Rohan to split him from Anjali. "We've found a nice suitable groom for her." he said through evidently gritted teeth. "Acha Anjali, isi liye tum Aparna aur Raj ke saath India nahi jaa sakti! You can't go to India with them."

"India? Wait what? I can't..?" Anjali stared around the room embarrasingly confused.

"Let me explain," Mr. Awasthi began curtly. "We've been getting calls from some people who claim to be Bollywood producers, and since they so-called admired your performance on the IIFA stage, they now would like you to do some photoshoots, be background dancers, heroines, vagera-vagera. God knows who gave them our number."

This explanation brought excitement to her formerly confused feelings, and lit up Anjali's facial glow.

"But you can't go, because similarly to this, you will also be meeting your future husband whom we think will support you for the rest of your life."

Anjali expression transformed instantly into a shocked one. She was so innocent unlike her sister, I kinda felt sorry for her.

"Hmm...If you stop her from going, then why not me?" Aparna challenged her father. Wasn't liking her by the minute, anyway, although she did it out of love for her little sister.

"You, young lady, I need out of my house. I mean, have some fun, you're getting married in a month! I want no complaints from you that I never let you live it up, ya know? This way, you'll be back by the end of the month for your engagement. Anjali will get married next year, as she's a year younger than you, by the way." Mr. Awasthi gave her a withering, fake smile.

Laughter and merriment filled the whole room in this time span, except for the fake smiles worn by Rohan and Raj. Anjali was a bit warmer I guess. Anyways, at this time, Aparna entered into the living room with a tray of teacups for all the guests. She smiled warmly at all the guests who took tea from her. When it was Raj's turn to take his tea, he gave her a small back rub, probably to tell her "sab theek ho jayega, jaanu". Whore, no doubt, I smirked to myself. Mere saath, tum theek kabhi nahi ho jayega.

Aparna's POV

"You, young lady, I need out of my house. I mean, have some fun, you're getting married in a month! I want no complaints from you that I never let you live it up, ya know? This way, you'll be back by the end of the month for your engagement. Anjali will get married next year, as she's a year younger than you, by the way." my father's dialogue was obviously not genuine, considering how egotistic he was. He just said that because he could care less about how "naachnewali's" ruined themselves, setting a terrible example to those younger than them, just for USP and other reasons. Well, he guessed it, I'm going nowhere without my sister. No way, is he putting her through the unhappiness I'm going through, in order to "save" her. No way is he splitting her from Rohan. Rohan is a very good friend of mine, my brother, and no matter how harsh I am on him at times, I know he will take care of her, and love her more than his own life for the rest of their lives.
