"Harry, shut up. Stop apologizing. I'm the one who needs to apologize. So, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Harry. I shouldn't've said what I did. It was rash and uncalled for. Forgive me?" Louis says.

"Fine," I agree. He smiles.

"Good. Come here." We bro hug and rejoin the group in the water.

"Did you apologize?" Melanie asks me. I nod and stick my tongue out at her, causing her to laugh. Niall whispers something to Liam and he nods.

After an hour of playing around in the lake, I excuse myself. Mel tries to come with me, but I turn down her offer. Going into the changing rooms, I put my jeans, v-neck, and combat boots back on. I sneak off of school grounds and trek to my aunt Dee's house. Upon arrival, I rap on the door. I wait for a moment before she opens it, revealing her cozy home.

"Harry! What a surprise," she says. "Shouldn't you be at school?" she asks.

"We have another hour of break," I reply. Her eyes light up.

"Well sit down, then! Can I getcha somethin'?" she asks. I sit at her mahogany table.

"Some tea would be great," I say. She tuts.

"Harry, you've got to have SOMETHING substantial. How about leftover lasagna? It's your favourite."

"Aunt Dee, that's Ben's favourite. Mine's tacos."

"Oh, right, right. Of course. I just get a bit frazzled sometimes, having three kids and all."

"I know. No worries. But the lasagna does sound good," I say. She smiles and gets my tea and lasagna, then sits down with me.

"So Harry, why did you come here today? And don't say you wanted to pay me a visit, because I know that's not it," Dee says. I sigh. Might as well get to the point.

"I'm here about my car." She narrows her eyes.

"You remember the deal."

"I know, but-"

"It's not what your mother would want."

"But she's not even-"

"You know the deal, Harry. You get the car when you have your own flat."

"Yes, but-"

"Do you still live with the boys?"

"Yes-"

"Then no car."

"But-"

"Harry, you know-"

"Could I please finish my damn sentence!?" I shout, my fingers clenched around the tablecloth. Dee rubs her temples.

"Unless your sentence is 'I just bought a flat,' no."

"Fine!" I shout, pushing back my chair and leaving, slamming the door behind me.

Angrily, I make my way back to the lake. The only person there is Melanie. Before I can turn back and walk to the house I share with Louis, Zayn, Liam, and Niall, she looks up and sees me.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Mel asks.

"Nothing," I lie. "Where's everyone else?" She gives me a look that clearly says 'this isn't over'.

"First Day Field Day started, and I'm ditching."

"Wow, Mel. Didn't think you had it in you," I tease.

"A lot changes when you completely ignore someone for two years, Harold," she snaps.

I flinch.
