Chapter 16: UNDYNE THE FREAKIN BOSS!

      ➰ Gabe's P.O.V ➰

      I was just roaming around the cave, thinking about life. Wait, is Avi okay? Should we have split up? I pushed he questions aside for now. Avi's a strong person, and she can take care of herself.

I walked a little further and met a little Monster Kid. He was so cute!

"Yo! What's up dude? Have you met someone named Undyne?!" He asked me. I shook my head.

"Then you have to! She might be up ahead in the cave! Let's go!" Monster Kid said and grabbed my hand. I tried pulling away but couldn't.

We eventually came to another cave entrance, and I saw someone in knights armor standing on top of big boulders on top of the entrance. It was holding a big, crystal blue spear. Monster Kid was jumping up and down excitedly.

"YO THAT'S HER!!" He yelled. But then, Undyne jumped down and grabbed the kids hand and pulled him away. I took this opportunity to run like HELL!

I kept running, but Undyne jumped in front of me and I screamed and backed up.

"7 Souls..." She said. She had that tomboyish voice.

"YOU AND YOUR LITTLE FRIEND ARE STANDING IN FRONT OF EVERYONES HOPES AND DREAMS! AND FOR THAT YOU AND YOUR FRIEND WILL DIE!!!!" She screamed and swung her spear at me. I screamed and dodged. My SOUL flew out of my chest and into the air.

      Undyne kept throwing spear attacks at me and I got hurt a few times, but I kept healing with a few items I had.

      Then, I heard someone running behind me. I quickly whirled around and saw Avi! She was epically running toward me and something was on her shoulder. It was like, a little kitten with black hair and a uniform? It was cute. She stopped next to me and faced Undyne with a brave face.

      "Well look who's here!" Undyne said.

      "It doesn't have to be this way Undyne." Avi said. It doesn't? I-I MEAN YEEEAAAAAHHHH!!

      "WHAT?! OF COURSE IT DOES! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?! WE ONLY HAVE 5 SOULS AND WE NEED 7 TO SHATTER THE BARRIER! AND YOU 2 ARE THOSE SOULS!!!" Undyne screeched. She threw spears at Avi and they hit her, but she wasn't affected. Then, something glowed on her. She had armor on!

      "Might sound funny, but Temy Armor is your weakness." Avi said bravely.

      "Yeah! Mean peopl do not phas (phase) Temy Armor!" The little kitty said. Undyne backed up. That's when my phone rang. It was, Papyrus?

      "HELLO HUMAN!!! YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THINKING? ME, YOU, THE OTHER HUMAN, AND UNDYNE SHOULD HANG OUT SOMETIME! WELL, THAT'S ALL! TELL THE OTHER HUMAN I SAID HELLO!" Papyrus said, and hung up. Undyne then took off her helmet and threw it to the side. She was like a fish girl with blue skin, amber eye, an eyepatch, and red hair tied up in he back. She looked our ages, maybe 20.

      We eventually found a way around her and ran super fast, with the kitty on Avi's shoulder, holding on. We ran through a tunnel and came into a piece of land with lava below it and one of Sans's booths. He was sleeping in it. There was a bridge in front of us, and we ran onto it.

Undyne was slowly following us. At the end of the bridge, but she collapsed.

"U-Undyne...?" Avi said and slowly approached her. She looked left and saw a water cooler. She got a cup of water and dumped it on Undyne's head.

"AVI WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! SHE CAN KILL US!!!" I exclaimed.

"I don't care! She's hurt and I care about everyone! Even if they are like her..." Avi admitted. Undyne then opened her eyes, and looked at Avi. Avi smiled. Undyne stood up and looked at us.

"Why... Why did you save me...?" Undyne asked.

"Because I care about you. Even if you tried to kill us, I still care about you Undyne." Avi said with a smile. Undyne turned around and walked were we came, and Sans was gone.
