Her.

I'd like to think I'm smart, but my mother has always told me otherwise.

When I was six was sitting on a stool in the kitchen, I leaned forward in attempt to grab my cup, but ended up falling out of the chair and hitting my chin on the counter.

In result I had two stitches on my bottom lip and my mother scolding me in the car on the way home asking how I could be so clumsy.

I didn't have an answer so I kept my sore lips closed.

I was pulled out of the memory when my mother asked me to pass the salt.

My mother, Harry and I all sitting around the dinner table; my brother gone at a friends house.

Harry had got done "fixing" my sink, when my mother insisted that he stay for dinner.

The conversation was pretty boring so I didn't listen, until my mother started yelling at me about how it was rude to ignore guests.

"Scarlett, it's no big deal, I'm not royalty." Harry chuckled slightly at my mothers; Scarlett, actions.

"Yes it is. She needs to learn manners, she doesn't have any." My mother exclaimed.

I was appalled to say the least. My own mother thinks I don't have any manners. She's the one with no manners. I'm polite. I say please and thank you. She says go and it's your obligation.

I stood up, the wooden legs of the old chair sliding across the floor.

"I do to have manners, mother! You're the one with no manners!" I screeched.

She gave me a shocked look.

"Go to your room, this instant young lady. You will not talk to me; your mother in that way!"

I looked at her and moved my eyes to Harry who was staring at me with shock and sorrow in his eyes.

A tear leaked out of my eye and fell down my cheek.

"I'm sorry for ruining the dinner." I choked out, looking at Harry.

I walked out the dining room and made my way to the stairs, with tear filled eyes and abnormal breathing.

I'm sorry it's so short
Anyway I love you guys!
