The Future (Dramione story)

A Long Goodbye

Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger (Now Hermione Malfoy)
Were getting ready to send their oldest son Tom and to Hogwarts for their first year of school.
"Dad?" Tom asked
"Yes, my boy?" Draco replied
"What if I am put in Gryffindor?"
"Well, that won't be so bad your mom was a Gryffindor and she is the smartest person I know!"
"Really?"
"Yes."
Just then Hermione walked out of the room.
"Hi mom!" Tom said
"Hey honey!" Hermione replied
"C'mon guys were gonna miss the train." Draco said as he looked at the clock.
"Tom I'm really gonna miss having my big boy at home." Hermione said as she started to tear up!
"Cmon Hermione there is no use in getting over emotional over this." Draco replied with a laugh.
"No your right there's not" Hermione answered with a small smile.
"Draco jr. go too?" Asked their youngest son.
"No, not this year sweetie." Hermione said as she picked him up.  As they arrived to the train station the train was just arriving at the platform.
"Well, I guess it's time to go son." Draco said
"Yes, I guess so......" Tom said as his eyes started to get teary.
"Honey what's wrong?" Hermione asked with concern in her voice.
"I'm going to miss all of you." Tom replied as he start to cry as he ran into his mother and hugged her as tight as he could!  Hermione had a hard time keeping herself from crying as she saw how scared her son was.
"It's going to be fine honey you're going to make lots of new friends there! Hermione said with a little smile.
"Really?" Tom asked.
"Yes!" Hermione answered.
The train was ready to start boarding so Tom let go of his mother and walked towards the train.   Hermione looked at him with a reassuring smile as he looked back he nodded then he walked on to the train. Hermione and Draco watched as Tom sat down in a compartment! Hermione had tears coming down her face faster than she could wipe them away. Tom waved to his parents and then the train started to depart from the station. Tom was on his way to Hogwarts
