My first dance

Chapter 9

( Imagine all the hairstyles with blonde hair )
I woke up the next morning and made me and Val chocolate chip pancakes. I fixed the pancakes and got the bacon started when Val walked down the stairs.
Val: Goodmorning babe
Me: Morning what time do you have to be on Ellen
Val: 12
Me: Ok I'll help you get ready after breakfast but I don't think I'll make it with you because I'm not feeling the best
Val: Ok as long as you don't over do it
Me: Ok breakfast is ready
After we ate breakfast and cleaned up everything I got him ready and picked out his outfit which was place pants, a white button up shirt, and nice black dress shoes.
Val: I've got to start heading over to Ellen I'll see you later
Me: Bye I'll watch you on the TV
We kissed goodbye and I started to get ready for Ellen I put on some casual clothes and put my dance costume and shoes with my black dress and shoes plus all my makeup into a little hang up bag and grabbed my keys and phone then started heading to Ellen. I met Peta and Artem at the back door and waited for the people to show Artem to his dressing room and Peta and I into the dressing room we were sharing. We got to practice on more time before heading back into our room before getting ready. We were going to be performing in the middle of the show so when it started we still and some time. I put my hair into this fancy ponytail and got my costume and shoes on. Once they got Val onstage Artem. Peta, and I headed backstage to wait for our cue. A couple minutes into the interview I heard my name.
Ellen: So how's your girlfriend
Val: Haley's great I love her
Ellen: You know this is just a little bit funny
Val: what is
Ellen: Well she's actually here to perform with Artem and Peta
Val: When
Ellen: Right now
We got in our spots as the door opened and the music started. Artem started dancing and then me and Peta walked on and everyone started cheering but after our dance was commercial and I had to get changed. I walked to me and Peta's room and while she was packing her stuff I changed until I was pulled outside to walk outside to be interviewed with Val. As I walked out everyone cheered and Val and Ellen stood up to greet me. When I got there Val kissed me and Ellen hugged me then we sat down.
Ellen: Glad you could make it
Me: Wouldn't miss it
Val: You totally got me
Me: Yah I told Val I wasn't feeling so good so I couldn't wait backstage for him
Ellen: That's hilarious
Me: I try
Val: Tryhard
Me: Don't talk to me like that
Ellen tarted laughing knowing that we were joking around.
Ellen: So
Me: So
Val: So
Ellen: So are you going to be one of Peta's bridesmaids
Me: Well I don't know she hasn't asked me
Val: I hope she is because then she could walk down the isle with me
Me: That would be a cute picture
Val: It would be my screen saver in my wallet and hanging up in my room
The whole audience awwed.
Ellen: This is so fake
We started laughing.
Ellen: But really you look great
Me/Val: Thanks
We said at the same time.
Ellen: This is scary but it's also sad because y'all have to go I'll see y'all after commercial break
As soon as we heard commercial break we said bye to everybody before getting our stuff and heading home.
