I soon got downstairs and saw our neighbors. "Hi Jerome. Hi Jordan" I said as I greeted our neighbors. If you are wondering Jerome is my dads friend who is his "brother from another mother" and Jordan is my new friend who is going to the same school as me.
"Hi Jessica" they both greeted me.
I once thought that Jordan wore a weave because he had this really long hair that was in curls and they hung separately. We all started walking as my dad and Jerome we conversing. Me and Jordan started talking and I never thought me and him would talk much. I soon got in front of the school and as my dad hugged me I saw this cute tall boy who also looked back at me and smiled. My heart started racing and all I could think about was him. "Did he like me? Why do I feel this way?" I thought. But I set those thoughts aside. I walked in the school and notices some girls In a group. "Wow I can tell they are already going to be bitchy" as I rolled my eyes and walked with Jordan. We got in the cafeteria and Jordan introduced me to some one his friends.
"Adonis this is Jessica. Jessica...Adonis. Anthony this is Jessica...jessica...Anthony. Kevin this is..."
"Uhh Jordan I think they got it. I can introduce my self" I chuckled as I also felt embarrassed that he said my name so many times.
Soon we walked up stairs and I got a schedule. Apparently I had a teacher named ms.wells. She soon said "Hi what's your name?" Out loud to the class. "Umm my name is Jessica Rosario and I came from Roland Hayes is.291". 45 mins flew by and soon this girl walked up to me.
"Hi wanna be friends?" She said.
"Sure" I replied.
We soon walked to class together. On the way there she introduced her self. "Hi my name is Michelle Ayala".
"My name is Jessica Rosario"
From there we got along so well that we decided to exchange numbers. We soon went to lunch and that's when my heart started racing faster than before. There he was. Soon Michelle told me to get lunch and this girl name Paulina pulled me and said "lets get lunch together"
Of course I didn't want to be rude and I said "sure"
Then there he was, arguing with Paulina. "Be quiet your so ugly" he said.
"No I'm not dumb ass" she replied.
"You see her?" He was signaling at me. "She is way prettier than you. I'm mean your not pretty at all". I couldn't help but blush. As he smiled and didn't take his eyes off me. I mean I'm so ugly and last year I wasn't even layed a eye on. Did this summer change me so much? That would of been a miracle. But that would of been too good to be true. I got my lunch and went back to michelle.
"Do you know that tall boy standing over there?" as I pointed at him.
"Yes. He has a crush on me" she said. Those words broke my heart as I thought I had a chance. All of my hope was gone. "Why do you ask?"
"No reason", I lied.
"Do you like him?"
"Maybe..."
"Omg. I'm totally making you to happen" she said as those words brightened my day.
"I wanna see that" as I gave of a look that I was happy and I wanted him. But it would of been to good to be true if he only called me pretty compared to Paulina since she was really ugly or he just called me pretty since I'm new and he didn't want to be rude. But who knows...
