Teddy and Me
Chapter 1
I woke up in the morning to find a huge present near my bed. It was a big red box. I got up quickly and ran to the table where the present was. I opened the box to find a big fluffy teddy bear. I nearly cried out of joy. Nobody had ever given me a birthday present before.
There was a little note next to the teddy bear, which said " Happy Birthday! From Mom, To my sweet Mona"
I ran to the kitchen where I found my mom preparing my breakfast and hugged her.
"Happy birthday, sweetheart!" my mom greeted.
"Thanks, Mom. I love you," I said.
"I love you too, darling" my mom smiled and asked, "Did you like it?" I knew she meant the present.
"I absolutely love it," I told my mom happily, "it's the best birthday present ever!"
"Glad that you did. Now get ready for breakfast - I made your favorite," my mom said pointing at the pancakes.
"Yay! Pancakes!"
My mom's pancakes were the best. They tasted so good, and she rarely made them.
