Beginning Nightmares

Nooooooooh! Why me! Why..why...why... It was October 12 at 2:00 am Katie's Mom received a phone call from my dad's mom . . My mom while she seated in the couch impatiently confused why she was calling...why in the world would my daddy's mom be calling this late. My mother said mumbling "hi Jeannette is there a problem" my mother could tell Jeannette was about to cry. "Yes! You must come quick, don't bring Katie with you, hurry! At the hospital!" Jeannette desperately crying couldn't even finish the whole sentence. "Are you OK Jeanette" my mother asked even nervous than before. "I have really bad news, but I can't explain it in the phone, come to the hospital" my mother got the keys and went out to the car.

Hello, I'm Katie...that night when my mother received a phone call everything changed for me. I gave up life, I was stressed and furious, I wasn't strong to keep going. That night my father was shot and killed by a group of men who hated him. It was all gone! The person who understood me had just left and broke half of my heart. "Mom! Why me, I hate my life! No this wasn't suppose to happen! Mom tell me this is just a dream! Please" Katie broke into tears while her mom hugged her tight trying to comfort her. "Sweetheart this isn't easy for both of us, daddy loved us and he wouldn't want us to be sad! Please don't cry" her words were like air flying by, Katie was concentrated on what life had done to her.

3 years past, things started to get worse, my mom started using drugs, she got tickets and didint pay them on time, she lost her job and she decided to work on prostitution. Katie couldn't handle it, too much pain, sometimes Katy wouldn't eat for 3 days straight. Months past her mother seemed like she had forgotten all about her little girl. She would come late at night all drunk! After a few days Katie faced her mother and said "mom what happened to you..your not the mom you used to be.. What happened to our love?" With tears on her eyes she said "Katie I don't know who I am now, look at me, what do you want me to do, all you know how to do is wine and cry, why don't you grow up Katie and realise this is how life is!" Katie ran with pain in her heart after all the words she heard from her mother, she was brokened...

"I hate my stupid life!! Ah! Why did it have to be me! What did I do to deserve this!" Screamed Katie.. She thought about running away..far away from her mother and forget about the memories and nightmares life brought her. Later that night, she ran! And ran! And ran! She was out of her house and away from her mother...but the words her mother said haunted her like a ghost desperate to kill and poison somebody's heart. 6 seeks went by, a cop found her, he saw Katie wondering around all day with no adults beside her. "Kid! What's your name! What are you doing here alone. Were are your parents!" He said it with a demanding tone. Katie with nothing to be scared of tone she answered the man's questions. "Sr, my name is Katie Anderson...I'm alone here cuz I ran away..you wanna know why I'm not with my parents! Well my dad died and left me..and my mom doesn't care about me but hurt me!" The cop got out of the car and grabbed the girl and took her into the police station.

The police decided to take her to the orphans house because her mother didint wanted Katie. "Wait! What are you doing you can't take me..my mom loves me stop! Stop!." "Kid your mother don't want you, now we will take you somewhere you will call home" furiously Katie got out of control, she screamed for her mother to help her but she knew she wouldn't come. Years past, Katie was now 16, she was bullied, kicked, and mistreated on the orphanage.. Girls her age were mean and rude, and they limited your food, it was all junk. One bright afternoon.."Katie please come to the office." Katie was confused! The boss told Katie that a couple wanted to a adopt her, cuz they read about her life, and they want to help. "Really! Now!" Katie excitedly couldn't wait to meet them!

"Katie this is Nene and Richard this couple will be your new parents! Congratulations" Katie was shocked, who would want a pesky girl like her. She was happy knowing she would have a mom and a dad!!!! Well she moved to their house..the first day was a blast, they talked about each other's life and the cool thing was Katie was going to have 3 step siblings! Two boys and one girl, Will, Brandon, and Elena. They were so fun to play with. Katie never knew having brothers and sister would be so fun! Now she never felt lonely and her half brokened heart was back together!

"Mom Dad !! I love you!! You guys are the best!!"
