"It's dreadful!" Ella exclaimed as she moved down from the horse and stood beside the man who had used her to escape safely. She looked around and eyed any possible escape but came up empty. Instead, she saw the sickly people of this cursed village. All women had long hair aside from a few who were caught in chains and walking with men teasing sexual advances behind them. The men wore run down clothes and had alcohol in their hands as the most respectable people in the village were laughing with one another at the others walking about.

"What are we here for?"

The man scoffed as he pulled her through the village and to a house near the middle of the town. All men tried to reach out and touch her or make crude remarks, but the man who pulled her through town held her tight at his side.

"I would advise against that." He said with a threatening tone before showing his gun and the men backed away. Making it to the desired location, the man moved to the door and knocked harsh until another young man entered the door. This one was different than the two men she has tried to escape from. This man was clean-shaven with blonde hair and blue eyes. He appeared to be a good clean-cut boy.

"I envy you Carver..." The young boy said to the man whom had taken Ella captive. She now had a name, one she would not soon forget. "You bring beautiful women each time I see you, and yet I cannot even gain the confidence to ask for a petal from the flower girl."

"There is nothing to it young Benny. You just have to look in her eyes," Carver did what he explained to Ella, as she soon found her hate to dissolve at his motions. "And peer into her soul and find a location to touch her. For most...it is the nape of her neck or the angle where her waist meets her hip..." Ella slowly closed her eyes before realizing the sickening notions of the movement and they shot back open. "Then you slowly move closer to her and just before your lips touch...." Suddenly he released her and she landed against the nearby table, making the trio of men laugh.

Her eyes met with Carvers as she glared. "I do not take kindly to rude humor."

"I do not mean to offend Miss...but I believe you would find any humor of mine to be rude...if it was not done with my little finger as so...." He mimicked a motion with his last finger on his right hand up and acted as if he was drinking tea. Her glare continued as the boys eventually grew bored of teasing her and discussed the proper business-that in which she grew bored and confused as they used words of things she did not understand. In the meantime, she moved about the small house until Benny rushed to her side as Carver and the other man had been looking over documents.

"I would not take too harsh to Mister Carver-"

"How do you two know each other?" She asked out of plain curiosity in hopes of clinging to Carver's humanity in the future.

"He saved my life...and my father's..."

"Really? He seems more a savage-"

Benny looked back to Carver before meeting back with her gaze. "He had a rough start his brother said-"

"IS that his brother with him?"

"No." He scoffed. "That is Vixtor, I don't know his real or first name..."

"I apologize for ceasing your explanation of Carver...please continue..."

"I do not know much, but I do know that Mister Carver has lost many people. Including his brother and his mother. I hear his father was a brute-a man with iron knuckles and a knife for a tongue...having to be raised in such a home would be critical to any child..."

"So why do you think he took me?" Benny's eyes shot open as he moved about the room and moved to Carver before they appeared to have some sort of argument. Ended quickly by Carver walking towards Ella.
