Senior Year!

Chapter 3 || The Not so Crappy Day

Lucy P.O.V
(In class)
"Okay so this is social studies. You can sit next to me if you want too!" Levy says. "Um. Sure!" I say. Mainly because I don't know anyone here. I sit down and take out a notebook and pencil. I wait till the rest of the class pile in. There was a familiar voice coming from the back of the room. I gasp it's that hot Natsu guy. I kept staring at him till levy pulled me out of my gaze. "Lucy!!! Someone has a crush!!!" She whispers In a smirky grin. I start blushing "uh.. No.. No I don't!" I say embarrassed. "I don't even know him!" "It's okay Lucy, just stay away from Lissana she will go through anything to get back with Natsu." Levy says. "She will?" I asked confused. "Yah, her going out with Natsu was the height of her popularity!" Levy says. "Oh no wonder!" I mumble. "What?" she asks. "Oh no, it's just in the courtyard Natsu was talking to me, and then she comes in totally ignoring me and pulling Natsu away from me." I say. "Oh" levy says. Then the teacher comes in and welcomes us. She explains our course for the semester, and then we get straight to work.
[At lunch (still Lucy's P.O.V.)]
"So how's your day going Lu-chan?" Levy asked me. "Oh its going great!" I said. Normally my school years are really crappy. I never made many friends but levy was super nice. So far I had 2 classes with that Natsu kid. Hopefully my last class today, will be with him.
(Last period)
Still Lucy P.O.V
During last period levy-chan invited me over so we could do homework. So I said sure. I'm driving to her house though cause her mom dropped her off today. As I walk out a hand grabs my arm and pulls me back in the class. "Hey luce!" Natsu says. "Oh.. Uh.. Hi Natsu!" I say blushing looking down at the ground. "So uh... Whatcha doing later today?" He asked. "Oh I'm going over to Levy's house to finish up on homework." I reply. "Oh well maybe tomorrow want to go with me to this diner? A bunch of us are going!" He says. "Uh.. Sure." I say excitedly. "Okay great!" He said. "I'll pick you up from school tomorrow!" I go to find levy-chan dreamily.
(Levy P.O.V.)
I see lu-chan walking to me blushing more and more. I call at her "Lu-chan over here!!" I wave my hands. She runs over. "Levy-chan!!! Guess what just happened!!" She squeals. "What?!" "Natsu Draganeel asked if I wanted to come with him to a diner!!" She says happily. I gasped "really??!!" "Mmhmm!!!" She replies jumping up and down. "Yay we will talk about on our way to my house!"
(Lucy P.O.V)
It was great to finally have a best friend to tell about my feelings.
Levy-chan was a super awesome friend. And this after one day. I had no idea this school would be so great. Then we stopped in our tracks and l look at levy and she's blushing a lot and then I look forward I see a tall guy with long black spikey hair. He looks angry. And has a bunch of piercings on his face. He walks with an angry devilish grin. And he wears almost all black clothes. He goes up to levy and says "hey shrimp!" Levy blushes and says "oh..uh... He..hey gajeel!" A bit to excited. "So you coming to the diner tomorrow night?" He asked calmly. "Uh.. Yah.. Of course!" She says nervously. "Great! See you there shrimp!" He says as he rubs her hair and walks away. "Someone has a crush!!" I say mockingly as we head out to my car. She blushes "what ever!" "Looks like we'll both be going to the diner tomorrow!"
(At home)
I'm super excited for tomorrow. Natsu said he'll pick me up to go to school that way we can go together to the dinner. As I pull in I see that my dad still isn't home. As usual probably off doing some business thing. I open the door and walk upstairs.
(Time passed)
Just as I jump in the shower my phone rings. I groan and answer it "hello?" I say irritated. "Oh.. Um is this Lucy?" The voice said. "Yes" I say questionable. "Oh, hey! It's me, Natsu!" The voice says. I gladly change my attitude "Oh. Hey Natsu! What's up?!" "Oh nothing I was just wondering if ur still coming to the diner thing with me after school?" "Oh yah! I am." I say a bit to energetic.  "Oh that's great! It'll be so much fun!" He says. "Oh yah, oh by the way how did you get my number?" I asked not really caring just glad that he got it. "Oh levy gave it to me!" He says. "Oh okay!" I say, thanking levy in my mind that she gave Natsu my number. "Okay well I'll let you go. I'll see you tomorrow then?" He asked. "Yup!" I say. "Okay I'll pick you up at 7" he says "sounds good!" "Okay bye then!" "Bye!" I hang up and squeal a bit. Then quickly take a shower and  go to bed to pass the time.
(The next morning)
I hear my alarm and lazily wake up. I look at the time. Holy shit! I over slept it's 6:45. I quickly got ready brushed my hair and teeth. Threw on the clothes that I had put out yesterday and grabbed my stuff. Then I waited outside patiently. I look at the time. 7:00. "Cool" I say to myself he'll be here soon. 7:15 still not here. I'll call him I thought. So I called no response. 7:20 still not here. What's happening my dad took my car because he asked for it last night. How the hell am I suppose to get to school. 7:25 still not here and starts raining. Fuck I locked my keys in the house cause I was rushing. I start walking to school. I get there right in the nick of time. I'm pissed off at Natsu. I'm soaking wet. Good thing I have P.E today I can dry my clothes while I'm in my p.e. Clothes and shower. But I had to sit first block soaking wet and p.e was second block. Guess my luck ran out. I thought to myself
