She always wandered what it would be like to have no responsibility. Where she could run off and be happy without faking. She knew she wasn't wanted here, not by her peers nor her parents. They had made that obvious a long time ago. It was then that she decided she wants taking care of so she took care of others. In a way it was for her to prove to herself that her problems weren't as major on a wider scale. The wider scale being her school and community. She listened to everyone else's problems as a distraction from her own. She never mocked them for it and encouraged them to be happy. She was sort of like a teenage councillor for other teenagers. Her 'patients' didn't realise her pain that was stored beneath her beautiful smile and thought she was just an optimistic person. This was far from the truth. When it came to returns to her 'home' that's when the smile faded and the tears found their way down her cheeks, as her parents, if you can even call them that would yell petty insults at the already broken girl. 3rd time lucky she kept telling herself. The last 2 attempts at her life failed and miserably at that. But then again she believed anything she was a part of was a miserable attempt at something good. She hadn't seen all the good she had done for her community and everyone around her. All because of a pitiful fake smile . . .
