Hello! I've decided to write a Jack Frost fanfiction. Yes, I realize the font changes in the middle of the chapter. Really sorry about that. Well, I hope you enjoy.

I swipe my staff across the town and tufts of white start to fall from the sky. The adults look up and sigh in annoyance, but the children see the snow and laugh joyously. Snow day! I fly down and land on a streetlamp, watching the people. Some kids wave at me and I wave back.

It's great how some people can see me now. Before, people wrote off Jack Frost as a myth and didn't care for me. But now some people believe in me because of Jamie and his friends. And how great it feels to be believed in.

A girl walks by with shoulder length brown hair and a pretty face, smiling at the snow. So she likes snow? I fly down and follow her by foot, making the snow flurry around her. She reaches out and touches a fluff, making me involuntarily shiver.

"Where are you going?" I ask, not expecting her to answer. She stops and turns towards me, looking me right in the eyes.

"Me? Oh I'm just walking. Enjoying the weather."

"You.... You can see me?"

"Well you aren't exactly hiding. And if you're trying to, you aren't doing a very good job." She says and I smirk at her sarcasm. How strange! She looks about eighteen, and a girl her age usually doesn't believe. "Least I tried. Anyways where are you going?" I ask.

"You know, curiosity killed the cat." She says and smirks back at me. She turns around and starts to walk away, her tan

jacket making a 'swish' noise. I jog and catch up, walking beside her.

"Cats have nine lives, so I'm not too worried." I say and she chuckles. "Guess you're right there. So I might as well ask, why are you barefoot? It's more than a little cold out here." I smile sheepishly and look down at my pale, barefoot, feet.

"Not cold to me."

"Why do you have a staff? Do you have a walking problem?" She says and I chuckle at her curiosity. She looks over to me with green eyes flecked with gold and looks concerned. "Sorry, I know I ask to many questions. Bad habit of mine."

"No it's fine. It's amusing." I say.

"So you find me amusing? So happy to be your source of entertainment." I laugh and she joins in, her laughter one of the most curious things I've ever heard.

"That's some laugh." I say and she stops laughing, pink coloring her cheeks.

"Yeah I know. I hate it. It sounds like a retarded donkey."

"It's....... Endearing. Don't worry about it."

"Well thanks. And we're here."

Shes led us into the snowy forest, not far from my lake. She looks around and smiles, taking in the the snow laden pine branches.

"Here, can I show you something?" I ask.
