I felt a sudden pain in my neck, and the guards thrust me into the cell. "Thought you could get away with it eh? The law catches up scum! Now your disgusting streak comes to an end!" the taller guard said. I simply smiled at him. His face was filled with scars, and he looked proud of them. Probably a 'Veteran'. His short hair was messy, and he was wearing a blue uniform smartly. Unfortunately for him, his attire was probably smarter than him.
"My streak wasn't as ugly as those on your face." I whispered. He spat at the prison cell and locked me up. His buddy looked at me, and I saw a little bit of admiration in his eyes. Well there were few assassins who could last as long as me. But few also had the ability to walk across dimensions. Just as the two guards walked away I shouted "See you later, fools!" and I walked into the second dimension.
Normally I would have to open a portal out of thin air, which was tiring, but the cell had walls which was pretty convenient. I closed the portal immediately after I stepped through, and I grinned at the thought of Scarface looking around desperately. I was still stuck in the ugly orange prison clothes, so I had to visit an old friend in the second dimension, or normal humans woul immediately report me to the police. The second dimension was a copy of the first dimension, and nobody knew why it was even created. But it was useful when I had to make a quick get away, because few could follow me to the second dimension. Nobody was around, and the cell door was unlocked, so I just walked out and found Dave waiting outside.
"Finally got caught huh Red? I told'ya this would happen one day." Dave said to me while leaning against the wall. My name was actually John Redinson, those who knew me called me Red, and I think many found it fitting because it was the colour of blood. "Yeah yeah whatever Dave, I need a fresh change of clothes, and I'll pay you after im done with my next client." I said. "Ah I've been waiting my whole life to hear you say that." Dave said while handing me a neatly folded short sleeved blue checkered shirt and black jeans. I realised Dave purposely gave me his most expensive clothing because he knew he would rarely ever get money from me again. "You really have to get a better variety of clothes. Your most expensive set of clothes costs $200? I wonder how you're so rich." I said to Dave teasingly. "Thanks for the advice captain 'I've been jailed'. Hades is in that room" Dave said while pointing to a door at the end of the corridor. I thanked him and walked to the door, opening it to be greeted by a dark room.
I walked in and switched on the lights, revealing a silenced sniper rifle painted dark purple with white skulls neatly placed on a chair. Hades was the name of my sniper rifle, and if you're decent at greek mythology, you'd know why. I picked up Hades and I transferred it into the nineteenth dimension, the storage dimension. Anything you put in it can be summoned at will from any other dimension, and Hades was kind of a dead give away that I was an assassin. I looked around and saw that the room was a dull gray, and the paint was peeling off. I changed into my fresh new clothes and felt my phone and wallet already in my pockets. I silently thanked Dave again. I dumped the prison clothes into a corner and walked out of the prison. I kept walking till I found a dark alley and I walked into the first dimension, ready to start a new streak.
