Another POV

Kurani was rather excited about getting her genin team, so much so that she did something non of the other sensi did.

She watched the graduation exam.

She wanted to know first hand about her potential students, not only who could be best for her but can work together, and their was one she was interested in. Recently fangirls were a huge nuisance and actual konnochi don't get their chance to shin and she wanted a konnochi prodigy to teach. A Konnochi that can show that girls can be just as good as boys, one that doesn't need one to stand out, and she already had one in mind. As the first students came in she saw the one she had her eye on Koi Uzumaki. Kurani knew that she was filled with potential and could probably one day become greater then her father.

Kurani watched her talk with her friends and when the Inuzuka hair came in she truly removed her mask and Kurani finally got to see the girl underneath. Koi seamed like a fun loving care free, but if you looked close you could see the weight of the burden she carries, and how she already saw the harsh reality of the world at such a young age. She never truly had a childhood but she still is strong and happy and never will she give up on her friends or the village. Even now, though she doesn't see it, she has already changed several people around her and people in the village, not to mention the village itself. Koi was the girl that will never falter or whine about stupid things and can change someone simply by talking to them, she was a strange girl but a great one.

One with a great destiny.

More people came in and Koi pulled up her mask, she outright refused to allow anyone else to see the real her if she didn't trust them and their were so few that she did it was ridicules. No one knows what caused the change in her, she went from a hyper active knuckle head to a calm and cool genius, it was funny how everyone wanted her to stop goofing off and now that she did everyone is too freaked to register that they got what they wanted.

Kurani watched as the teacher assistant, Mizuki, passed out the tests. She saw him discreetly place a genjutsu on the page he gave to Koi, she was going to dispel it when there was a wave of chakra generated by Koi. Kurani upped the power of her genjutsu but she could tell from how her body tensed she already fingered out she was their but made no comment.

During the accuracy testing she out did everyone and turned the last loyal Uchiha an amusing shad of red, though she didn't miss the blush on the Inuzuka heir's face when she walked over to him. A school yard crush how adorable, kinda like the Hyuga heiress around a certain bug boy.

The rest of it went with next to no problems, the sparing agents each other was normal, and genjutsu dispel easy the last and probably most telling was the jutsu potion.

In this section you could easily tell who wants to be a shinobi and who was just doing it for love, or similar. The new elemental jutsu really showcased abilities such as the the Hyuga heiress was a water type, much more free form then the rest of her clan but there're were already plains that her jouin sensei was going to iron out, she wished Hinata could be on her team but it was frowned upon to have too many kanochi on one team, But that wouldn't stop her from trying

When the end of the day came their was celebration the only one not joining in on the festivity was Koi, she just walked right out to the village, her leaf head band secure around her forehead the blue cloth clear on her red hair. Kurani decided to fallow her to see what she dose day to day because of how little time she spends in the village, next to nothing is really known about her other then what her friends know.

Koi simply walked ignoring all the glares the ignorant villagers through her way, and bought some flowers before heading into the forest. Kurani watched her bring the flowers to a makeshift shrine and break down crying. This was probably where she goes to morn her parents, the Hokage told her that she knew about her parents but she never thought enough to cry about them. Was this what changed her so drastically years ago.

The Inuzuka heir soon came and they enjoyed a small picnic together she only watched untell Koi sent a glare to the spot she was hiding. Thinking quickly she sunshinnd (sp?) back to her apartment thinking over the day, and she was glad she was right about Koi being the one she wanted for h team.
