Clueless (One Direction Fan Fic)

Chapter 3

Alexis' POV

First day of school was great. I saw people who I haven’t seen for a while. As I predicted all the people at Harry’s Party was not here today.

Niall walked me to school but then disappeared. I saw him on my way to my homeroom talking to Liam. They both didn’t see me, but why was Niall talking to him? Maybe he was making an effort. I don’t understand there fighting at all. I mean why can’t we all just be friends? Obviously that would never happen but at least Niall was making an effort.

I got to my homeroom and sat down and watch to see who else was in here. Niall walked in and smiled and sat by me.

The homeroom I was in had tables. 6 people could sit at a table and that would be the permanent spot.

Liam and Louis also walked in. I smiled and motioned them to come sit. Could this get any better? Just as I thought that, Zayn walked in. He also came and sat with us.

“Hey guys. I can’t believe 4/5 of my best friends are in this homeroom. What are the chances?” I asked. They all smiled and nodded their heads. I can tell this is hard for them, but I am glad they are making an effort.

 “So my classes are Homeroom, then Science, then Art, then English, then Lunch, then Socials, then Music, then math, and finally foods. What about you guys?" I asked. They told me. I found out I have Science with Liam, Art with Zayn, English with Louis, Socials with maybe Harry I think, Music with all of them and Foods with Niall. It seemed like an awesome first semester.  

The teacher came in and started to do attendance. I found out that Harry was also in this class but the Jocks said he could sit with them. 

KNOCK KNOCK 

Someone was late. The teacher went to open the door. 

"Hello, why are you late?" he asked looking at the boy.

"I'm new, couldn't find my way to this room," the boy said.

"Oh, well now, you know we will let that one slide. You can sit with Alexis and her crew. Alexis please raise your hand," the teacher said. Man, this boy was hot. I slowly raised my hand and the boy came over and sat beside me. 

"Hey, my name is Josh, Josh Devine," he said.

"I'm Alexis," I said.

"Alexis is a beautiful name. It suits you," he said looking over at me. I blushed, I could tell, and looked down.

"Thanks," I said and looked over to realize all my friends were staring at us.

"Umm, these are my friends Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Niall. Harry's not here today though," I said pointing at all the guys. They all did a small wave.

"Is Harry your boyfriend?" he asked.

"No, he's just my friend. I don't have a boyfriend," I said looking down.

"Well how does a beautiful girl like you not have a boyfriend?" he asked. I shrugged and looked down.

"Alexis if you are done talking can you come hand these papers out?" the teacher said. I nodded and got up.

Zayn's POV

Lexi and Josh keep flirting. How does a guy who just shows up get so flirty with someone we've all known longer. 

"So, you all have been friend zoned, I see," he says.

"No we just haven't gotten the chance to ask her yet," Liam said looking down.

"Well it's to late now. Not much longer and she will be mine. So your group of 5 amigos can wave goodbye," he said. God, I hate him.

"We are not friends," I said glaring at him.

"Oh, now I see it. You all are from different groups and all want to win her heart but none of you are brave enough to ask her." he said with a smirk. I was about to say something but Lexi sat back down. We all said hi to her.

"So Alexis mind if I call you Lexi, it seems to suit you?" Josh said and put an arm around her.

"Tha-" I started but Lexi interrupted.

"I don't mind," she said and smiled. 

"What are your classes?" Josh asked and him and Lexi find out that they have all the same classes. I can't believe that. 

"That is so cool," Lexi said. The bell rang.

"I'll walk you to class," Josh said standing up and helping her. He put his arm around her and winked at us. Lexi gave a little wave and they walked off.

"I don't like him," I said getting up. The other guys nodded in agreement.

Liam's POV

I got to Science to find the desks in groups of 3. I saw Lexi and Josh sitting together. There was still a spot open for one more person but there is no way I wanted to sit with them. They aren't even a couple yet and they are already acting like it. I like Alexis a lot but it seems like he got to her sooner. 

I looked around the classroom to see there was a spot left next to Erik and Mandy, two of my friends. I was about to walk over to them when I heard her voice.

"Liam, come sit with us, there's a spot left," Alexis said looking at me with that cute smile of hers. I sighed and walked over to the desk and sat beside her.

"So, what are your plans for today?" I asked.

"Well, I'm showing Josh around after school," she giggled and looked back at Josh.

"Isn't today Louis day to hangout with you?" I asked. We all had days and today was Louis.

"Well he can come if he wants. Besides, I did hangout with him yesterday, so," she said. Was she going to blow off Louis?

"I'm sure Louis would understand," Josh said and put his arm around her again. Is she really so clueless that she doesn't see what he is doing? He is separating her from her friends.
