I sit in the corner with my thoughts
All alone but not alone all at once
Nobody to talk to while surrounded by people
They don't need me because they have others
I'm just here to fill in the time until they find their real friend
I stand beside them and smile but how long will it be until I'm cast aside
I know it won't be long but I don't know when exactly
So I wait in fear for that day I'm left behind
