The Fight I Started

I am Declan. I am a young man the age of fifteen; I have brown hair that glittered in the sunlight along with my dark hazel eyes. I am good at lots of stuff like running, swimming and hang gliding. You might think hang gliding is a bit strange for my age but my way of hang gliding is jumping off a building strapped to a kite, it was a very long story. But with running I am so fast it is insane I am first at every race even if I don’t even try. Swimming is interesting like my running I felt like I was born with it but I just practice, like never. The thing I am unique about is that I am fire resistant when I was a little boy my Mum and Dad died. It was because my mum left the iron on in a carpet room and it caught fire and, what do you know the next room some reason has a flammable gas tank. What do you know that blow up and my parents 3 story house got burnt to the ground and the only thing remanding is my parent’s dead bodies and my alive one with piles of ashes around me.

            And about now I put the pieces together and if you put hang gliding (air), swimming (water), burnt house with nothing but me (fire), running (earth). Put all that together and you get an Elemental. Yes, I said it an Elemental, which is what I am.

I had a very few friends at the school which who was, Mike, Stephanie and Torus they are all sort of like me…

Mike was around my age because obviously he is in my grade. He had gold eyes, bright blond hair and always wore black. He also had a very useful ability he could teleport around to anywhere he wanted to. He was in the school a lot; he liked it because of me and my friends. Stephanie was tricker she could make you believe anything she wants you to know and also she can read the minds of others. She had beautiful brown hair, blue eyes and mixed style of clothes.   Torus couldn’t be trusted he changed his features on himself he could be anyone but only Stephanie could tell who he was. Torus where to start he had many looks I think I will tell you the most common one. He has black hair, brown eyes and wore nave blue clothes.

My friends and I were at the same table working on a very hard maths equation. I wasn’t though I was looking around and my eyes were flickering from one spot to the other. The class room was a normal classroom and it had 4 tables in each group and there were 6 groups. My Maths teacher is Mrs Scallywag, weird name eh? The gaze through the room was all perfect until I had blue eyes meet my gaze, I was nervous thinking what to say all I could say was, “Yes?”

“Declan aren’t you supposed to be helping us work this out?” Stephanie is always good with making me look stupid, and by now I had a few pairs of eyes looking at me.

“I’m no good at Maths though.” I tried to beat her with complaints but it obviously it didn’t work how I planned it to.

“You and your excuses aren’t gonna work on me. You’re the one with A+’s in every Maths exam.” Stephanie shot back at me. That is true I always got top marks for Maths. No matter what I do it won’t work.

“Why don’t you read my mind or something? I already had it figured it out.” I whispered. I had to whisper that one or someone would have heard. We keep our talents a secret.

“Don’t try to lie to me, Declan. I was trying to find out if you had done it because I knew you would say that.” She quietly blew a kiss to me before she continued. “Better luck next time, in the meantime helps us with this equation.”

I searched for a comeback but it didn’t come so I gave up and started working out the sum. I was about to get the answer but, Mike already had it so I stopped and let my eyes wonder across the room. I let a few minutes pasted the bell rang and I walked out of class. I walked out first because I was blushing from what Stephanie had done a few minutes earlier. If you haven’t found out yet I like Stephanie and that was the only thought I could hide from her and Torus, Mike knew it though.
