(Y/n) POV.

It was another day at work by that I mean another day with Misa Misa and Light and our odd out of place L. 'Why is it every time I see him my heart beat starts to speed up and .....' I was interrupted from my thoughts by the one and only L snapping his fingers trying to get my attention. "Hey (y/n) are u OK this is the seventh time today you have spaced out". 'God why does he have to be so cute ... No no no don't think like that I mean he won't be into you' I blushed at the thought of L and then remembered that I had paper work to give to Mr. Yagami. "Sorry L I have to go Mr. Yagami need these papers and sorry for spacing out earlier! See you later L" I waved to him and walked away before thing could get any worse.

L's POV.

'Why must she always avoid me I am 100% positive that she likes me the same way I do her' I think to my self as Light comes over to me and asks if I'm ok. "Yes Light I am 99% positive that I am fine" I said with my normal face but my mind was still on (y/n). "Hey Ryuzaki why don't you just go and ask her out on a date we all know you like her". 'Man he can get on my nerves sometimes' I thought with a sour face. "You are right I shall ask her on a date when she gets back" Light seemed pleased with the idea I find this 90% annoying.

'Why is it taking her so long to get back it should only take about 3 minutes from here to Mr. Yagami's office and 3 minutes back' I thought of the possibility that she might be lost until Misa came in with (y/n) 'it seems that Misa has taken (y/n) shopping I will ask her out after Misa and Light leave to go home'.

(Y/n) POV.

'Why is L staring at me like that' I shiver at the intense stare on my back. I had just come back from an intense shopping spree with Misa Misa and now L is staring at me what could get any worse. "Hey I'm gonna take Misa home hope you guys are okay with that" I look at Light as he gets clung onto by Misa Misa. 'Why must the world hate me so much why must I be stuck with my crush' after they left I was spun around in my chair to face L. "H-hey L w-what are you d-doing" I stutter at the closeness of his face to mine I could feel his semi hot breath on my face. "This" was all he said before he kissed me on the lips. My mind went blank before I kissed back. After the kiss we separated and I swear my face was so red. "Will you (y/n) be willing to go on a date with me this Saturday at 8" I was surprised by what he said that it took me a lot if courage just to say yes.
