Funeral

I felt so bad for my boyfriend Mason. I feel like it's my fault. He did say if he can't have me he can't have his own life. They found him in his room. He was hanged with a rope. I even started crying. I forgave him for all the things he did to me.

Two days later I was called by police.
P: Hello Maddie Jones?
M: Yes?
P: We need you down in the police station as soon as possible. Thank you.

The phone hanged up.
I went down there in jeans and a regular shirt with converse.
"Hello my name is Maddie Jones and I think Officer Myles called me. Saying he needed to talk to me." I said to the lady in the front desk.
"Oh yes. Down the hall 2 door to your left."
"Thank you."
I walked down the hall. As I entered the room there was at least 5 officers in the room.
"Can I help you?" One of the officers said.
"Um in Maddie Jones."
"Oh. Sit down young lady we have a few questions."
I sat down in the chair. I was freaking out. The men were all staring at me.
"Ms. Jones. Did you know a Michael Walters?"
"Yes I did. He was my boyfriends twin brother."
"Mhmm okay. So, why do you think he added you to the suicide letter?"
"Well I think he was deeply in love with me. He tried to rape me. He also tried to kill me. I never dated or kissed him. He kept attacking me. You can ask my friend Ni.." I couldn't finish my sentence.
"Yea yea sure. I bet you went along with it. Did you ever sleep or have sexual intention with this young man?"
"No never."
"Stop lying Ms.Jones" the officer said while slamming the table.
"I'm not lying!"
"Yes you are! NOW! Next question...."
I stood there for over 10 hours. I missed all my classes. I was paranoid. I wanted to go back to my dorm. I wanted this day to be over! I wanted to be cuddled up next to Mason while watching Netflix. I wanted to cry mostly.

About 6 hours into the interview, they put me into a lie detector test. I passed.

"I'm so sorry for accusing you Ms.Jones. I....." The officer couldn't finish.
"You better be! You owe me food, money, alcohol, and a new outfit!" I said. I ran out the place. I was tired. I took my car and drove back to the camp.

"Maddie! Your back! What took so long?" Nia said.
"I don't wanna talk about it!" I said. I pushed Nia to the side. I then ran into my room and started crying on the bed.
I heard knocking on the door.
"Go away!" I said while my head was in the pillow. Mason walked in. He came up next to me and hugged me.
"I saw mail in your mailbox. It's pretty heavy." He said.
"GIMME!" I said like a selfish brat.
I opened up the letter and saw another $10,000.
"Damn baby you got hella stacks." Mason said.
"It's my mom. We are rich that's why."
"And you are hella sexy." He said.
He then pushed me to the bed and grabbed my head. Our lips connected.
That took all my stress away.

~Next Week~
It was the funeral day. I wore my black dress with black high heels. They played all of his favorite songs. I finally met Mason's parents. His mom was nice and beautiful and his father was handsome and kind. No wonder where he get his looks from.

They put an open coffin. I cried. Mason was holding me and I held him when he cried. They started playing a song called "Sunday Candy." (Song Above) it was also one of his favorite songs. Everyone said a few words. I didn't want to cause there was nothing nice I can say. He did a lot of bad things but he is with God now.

~Back at Camp~
"Hey kids how was the funeral?" The teacher asked.
"Oh it was lovely. There was over 100 people there." Nia said.
We all then went upstairs to our dorms.

~Next Day~
Today at camp is Gym day. No one knew that I played basketball. Not even Mason. Yes I may be all girly but I'm a boss at ball.
"Hey Maddie. I bet I can beat your girly ass at ball." Kevin said to me.
"You sure bout that?" I said.
"Yea you too girly to beat this!"
"Yea okay. I get ball first."
In the next 20 minutes I was winning
30-19.
"Haha and you thought you can beat me!" I said to him.
I then walked away. When I was walking, Nia tripped me. I landed on top of Andrew who was on his phone.
"Oh I see your still falling for me huh?" He said.
"Not even a bit. Haha." I said. I then walked to Nia and hit her in the arm.
"Oh and Maddie. Nice game." Andrew said.
"Hehe thanks."
"Ohhhh someone still likes you!" Nia said.
"Nah. He don't like me. Plus I have a boyfriend."
"Mhmm. Ya two ain't gonna last. I bet ya. He gonna break ya little heart into million pieces. I heard he was only dating you for money and sex." Nia said.
"Nah you tripping. He ain't like that."
"You sure. Here come little red eyes"
"Hey baby." He said while giving me a kiss. "Oh nice game. And can i borrow $25 for food?"
"Mhmm not for money or sex huh?" Nia whispered into my ear.
"No. And I have something to tell you. Maybe not just you, but the whole school." I said.
I stood up in the middle of the gym.
"MASON WALTERS! IF YOU REALLY LOVE ME AND NOT DATING ME FOR MONEY AND SEX! COME PICK ME UP BRIDAL STYLE AND KISS ME!" I screamed to him.
He didn't come.
"Girl is you crazy?! This is my boyfriend! I don't know what you mean?!" A girl named Alicia said.
Mason then kissed Alicia and picked her up bridal style and walked out the gym.
"No... nO..... NOOOOOOO!!!" I said.
I fell to the floor. Nia and Kevin came and picked me up.
"You see.... You can't trust players."Nia whispered in my ear.
"Yup in this whole 2 months he dated 19 girls. And your number 20." Kevin Said.
