Once, there was a commander. This commander was with his army, and they were walking up a mountain. All of them were cold. Cold to the point that if they didn't find shelter, they could die of hypothermia. The group trudged on, in the cold, until they saw a cabin.

The cabin was small and made of spruce wood. There was a stream with icy water and a forest of evergreen trees. Squirrels and rabbits dashed around the place. Even though the cabin was small, it was homely.

The commander and his army stepped inside. There was no one around, but the inside of the cabin smelled like baking cookies. All of them realized that they were also hungry, so they had some hot chocolate and cookies in the cabin. Before they left, the commander secretly put 5000 dollars in the cash register box.

They kept moving in the snow, now determined to finish their mission.

After finishing their mission, they went back down the mountain. On the way, they saw the cabin filled with people. The commander realized that this was a coffee shop. Everyone slowly walked in to be greeted with a cheerful lady in her 70s.

The cheerful lady let the worn out commander and his army rest for a while.

"I now know for sure that God exists!" The lady said.

"How?" said the commander.

"I really needed 5,000 dollars for my sister's operation. I entered the cabin where I found that some of my cookies and hot chocolate were missing. I was scared, and I thought that robbers came. I wanted to make sure that the little money that I have was safe. Immediately, I saw 5,000 dollars in the cash register box. God himself came to this little cabin." The lady said.

The commander started to cry tears of joy. Their timing was perfect for the cheerful lady, and they were able to get a warm place to stay and a bite to eat.

There are so many good things that we can do for each other. We don't have to give each other 5,000 dollars, but we can do something small. Eventually, it will make their day.
