"Why are you so emotionless, Changkyun?" Jooheon asks, swatting at Changkyun's knee to tease him further.

Changkyun lazily looks over at Jooheon and shrugs. "Thinking about all the people I've killed," he retorts, making everyone chuckle. "You'll be next," He adds. Everyone "oooh"s at the threat.

Jooheon raises an eyebrow. "You couldn't even hurt a fly. Your only weapon is your glare." Changkyun huffs, reaching out and flicking Jooheon on the forehead roughly. "Ow..." Jooheon jumps away from the feisty maknae and rubs his forehead. "You're so mean to me," he pouts. Changkyun rolls his eyes with a small smile and pounces onto Jooheon, the two beginning a playful wrestling match.

"Get a room!" Minhyuk shouts, laughing as much as the other band members.

Everyone except Hyungwon. Hyungwon stands and stretches before heading towards the front door and leaving. He walks down the front steps and reaches into the bushes, pulling out a duffel bag. He slings the bag over his shoulder and leisurely strolls down the street, hands in his pockets.

---

Wonho watches as Hyungwon walks out of the house, unnoticed by the other members. Curious, he gets up and follows after him out the door. Hyungwon is adjusting a medium duffel bag around his shoulders and Wonho decides to follow him in secret to see what Hyungwon is up to.

They walk for what feels like hours before Hyungwon turns into an alley. Wonho waits behind the corner, peeking around it. He watches as Hyungwon sets the bag down and unzips it, pulling clothing out of it. Hyungwon places the clothes on the ground beside him and then reaches back into the bag, something clanging around. Just as he's about to pull something else out, Wonho's phone begins ringing and he quickly backs away right as Hyungwon looks up.

Wonho jogs a little ways down the block and then accepts the call from Minhyuk. "What is it?"

Wonho can hear laughing in the background and then Minhyuk shushes them. "Hey, I don't know where you went but I thought we were supposed to practice our harmonies tonight."

Wonho groans. "Sorry, I forgot. I'll get back home as quickly as I can."

"Are you busy?" Minhyuk asks before Wonho ends the call.

Wonho glances behind himself at the corner he was just hiding behind. "No...I'll be home in a bit. Bye." ending the call, Wonho runs back to the corner and hesitantly peeks around it once more. Hyungwon is no longer there but the duffel bag is stuffed behind some ply wood. Wonho looks around some more and then heads toward the bag to investigate. After yanking the bag out and opening it, Wonho sees that the only contents are the clothes Hyungwon was wearing when he left the house. No sign of the clothing he saw him pull out before or whatever was banging around in the bag.

Wonho's phone rings again, causing him to jump up, clutching his chest. He accepts the call. "What?!" He whisper-yells, not even checking to see who it was that called.

Minhyuk's voice comes from the other end, sounding far away. "Kihyun, stop it," he giggles. Wonho cringes, thinking Minhyuk accidently buttdialed him but then Minhyuk's voice gets closer to the receiver. "Can you buy me some ramen while you're out?"

Wonho pinches his nose and looks up. "Stop calling me."

---

Hours later, after perfecting their harmony for the new song, Minhyuk heads to his room to get some sleep while Wonho goes to his room to wait up for Hyungwon. He wants to find out where Hyungwon went off to. It was a sketchy situation, though, so he has to be careful.

Finally, he hears the front door open around 3am and excitedly bounces out of his bed and opens his door to see Hyungwon's back retreat into the kitchen. Wonho hesitantly follows and clears his throat. "Hyungwon..."

Hyungwon turns, shutting the fridge door. Before responding he lunges at Wonho, slamming him into the wall with his forearm pressed harshly into Wonho's neck. "Why'd you follow me? How much did you see?" He spits out.

"How-"

"How'd I know you followed me?" Hyungwon finishes. "I don't know, Wonho. Maybe it was when you ran out the front door after me or maybe when we passed all those shop windows and I could see your reflection or maybe, just maybe, it was when I heard your ringtone."

Wonho wiggles around, trying to breathe easier. "I swear I didn't see anything. I only saw you pull clothes out of your bag. That's all. I left after that." Wonho grasps onto Hyungwon's arm, trying to pick some of the weight off of his neck. "If you knew I was following you and didn't want me to see anything, why did you continue?"

Hyungwon steps back, Wonho slipping down to the floor and rubbing his neck. "I don't know..." He trails off. "I guess a part of me wants you to know."

Instead of telling Wonho what he did, Hyungwon just goes to his room, leaving Wonho on the kitchen floor, still holding a hand to his neck.

After regaining his breath and wits, Wonho stands shakily and exits the house. He walks to the bushes and reaches in without thinking. As expected, Wonho's hand grazes a rough material and he grabs it, pulling it out of the bushes. The same duffel bag from before flies out and Wonho hurries to open it, revealing what's inside.

He first pulls a black baseball cap out, then a black sweater, black pants, black shoes, and a small black backpack. If that wasn't cause for worry enough, he next pulls out a baseball bat, scissors, rope, and a small fillet knife.

Wonho is frozen. Why did Hyungwon have these things? He snaps out of it, throwing everything into the bushes separately and falls backwards. Wonho is in shock. He's terrified.

---

Wonho has successfully avoided Hyungwon for two days. He acts normal around the other band members but when they leave, he leaves. He doesn't want to have any chance encounters alone with Hyungwon. He doesn't care if it's all somehow a misunderstanding. He's too scared to confront Hyungwon about it to get answers. He's constantly got a terrible feeling in the pit of his stomach, even when Hyungwon is nowhere near him.

Hyungwon was talking with Shownu on the couch across from Wonho. They were talking about the new dance routine but Wonho still felt a sinister feeling behind Hyungwon's words. Maybe it was just because he saw what was in the duffel bag because he'd never felt these vibes from Hyungwon before, but it didn't matter how smiley Hyungwon was, Wonho still saw the monster his mind was slowly creating.
