chapter 16

After they called my mom, they had to sit in the waiting room. When my mom arrived she was the only one able to come in the room, so my brothers and sister had to wait in the waiting room with Blake's parents. I dilated at a 10 and then I needed to push. The nurse kept telling me to push and I did it hurt really bad and Blake and my mom just held my hand the whole time. Then that's when it happened, the baby came out. The nurse rapped him in a blanket and gave him to me, me and Blake held him together and then kissed. Everyone came in the room and got a chance to hold him, after everyone held him like once or twice the nurse took him so that I could get some rest. Before I went to take a nap the nurse came and changed the sheets and wiped the bed off, then I fell asleep. I had to stay there for a couple days because I was bleeding bad. When I woke up Blake was sitting on the couch holding our baby Cameron. I got up and took a shower which took some of the pain away, when I got out I put on some yoga pants and a T-shirt. Then I brushed my hair and teeth and put on my socks. I opened the door and sat on the couch next to Blake and watched him feed Cameron. "Let me see him." I said grabbing the baby. Me, Blake and the baby just sat on the couch watching TV together because My mom went home with my brothers and sister, and Blake's parents went home to. The nurse came in and said we were able to go home tomorrow. Blake wanted to go and see if we could get the apartment earlier but we had to wait 4 more days. It was now 8:40 and Cameron was asleep in his bed that the doctors provided. So I slept on the bed and Blake slept on the couch. The next morning when we woke up the nurse came in a little bit after and gave us a sheet to use to sign out and we were able to leave. I grabbed clothes for Cameron and put them on him, then me and Blake headed home to his house.

When we got Blake's I had Blake carry Cameron and I carried the bags. We walked up to the door and his mom was so excited to see us but most excited to see our baby. I went and sat down in the living room with Blake's mom Jessica and Cameron, me and Blake's mom talked about things while Blake and his dad went to do guy things. "I'm so happy for you and Blake." Said Jessica who seemed a little sad. "Thank you, I'm excited for Blake and myself to." I replied. Jessica just smiled and kept talking to me.
