"What, you think you could tell her corpse apart from the thousands of others?" The man said, studying me.
"Of course I could." I replied, lifting my chin high.
"Boy, when the time comes and you're surrounded by the rotting, torn apart, disfigured chunks of meat that used to be the people you loved, you won't be able to tell where your own vomit starts and remains begin."

Book recommendation: "The Art Of Racing In The Rain", when I wrote this I had just finished reading it and bawled my eyes out. It's an amazing book.
