"Princess," a soft voice spoke, "my dear it's time to wake up. We have visitors!"
Visitors? Or more people to run my life?
I lay my head back onto the cold pillow- ah yes, my pillow. No backstory, I just love my pillow.
"Get up!"
I looked at her with my drowsy, unfocused eyes and relished, "Miss Marcy, if you don't leave me alone. So help me, I will get Mother on you!"
Mother wasn't a good thing to say things like that but the darn woman wouldn't just leave me alone. I need my sleep, well not sleep. I don't sleep, I just lay there at the pit stop between sleeping and being awake. Imagining things that may ever or never happen.
"Don't you dare say that against- against-.." Flabbergasted the woman seemed, she grabbed the midst of her dress and stomped away through the door like a prissy girl that never got what she wanted. I know why we don't say things like that towards Mother, but I can't just let this woman ruin my day. I laid back down deciding what should the gram play in my mind today maybe food, fighting, boys, or drinking my first bit of wine?
I'll just come up with something.
I laid down, shifted my body and sunk my head into the silky smooth pillows that every girl had dreamed of. I jumped into a trance that I was wearing a beautiful white gown fully covered in lace, only covering all the goods that the boys want to see. Sipping the rich taste of Alleguards finest red wine and the smell of finger foods across the ball room. Everyone laughing, smiling, and even enjoying their time well spent with each other. Except for me.
"Alexandria Renée Alleguard!"
I jolted up from 'tripping' in my dream I guess but more than likely from being startled by another lady, another with the reigning title of Mother.
