"Hey babe, wake up" a voice copes in my ear. I rub my eyes and try to adjust them to the light. When I do I see Nick standing next to my bed. Ugh.At least he's cute. "Whatcha doin?" I ask.
"Taking my beautiful girlfriend on a date today. I love you so I'm allowed to do that" he says with a smirk. He has no idea if he loves me or not.
"Okay, what do I wear?" I reply groggily. I'm not what you would call a morning person. Even though it's already noon.
"Something.... Sexy!" He has a smirk on his face. I internally groan to myself. "I'll pick you up in two hours babe" he says, leaning down to kiss me on the cheek.
He waltz out of the room as Ella walks in.
"I heard everything, let's get to your closet.. Scratch that. My closet." She ponders. She comes over to me and drags me up so I'm not lying on then floor.
I sigh and trudge into her closet. "Wait! He told me your going swimming .. So swimsuits!" She squeals, digging through my drawers.
"You just passed my favorite tankini!" I say, she shrugs and I hit her on the shoulder.
She pulls out a crème colored bikini and rolls her eyes at me. It is strapless and twisted at the center of the front. The bottoms are simple.
I shake my head at her. "No" I state.
"Yes!" She shoves it in my face. I stick my tongue out at her and slammed the door in her face. I reluctantly got changed into the bikini.
Why do I always give in? I have no idea.
I walk out and slip on a light pink, strapless coverup and gladiator sandals. I grab my purse with my phone and quickly hug Ella before leaving.
I find nick on the beach near our campus. He is sitting on a towel wearing a swim trunks and no shirt. I may not exactly "like him" that way, but he is hot.
I smile and sit down next to him. It's not too late and the sun hasn't started to set yet.
He puts his arm around me and kisses me on the cheek.
"Well, you look great" he says.
"thanks, so do you" I reply quietly.
"But!" He lifts his pointer finger in the air. What is coming next? I have no idea.
"You would look better if you took the swimsuit cover off" he smirks, tugging at the bottom of the fabric.
"Do I have to?" I complain. He nods, I sigh. I pull the dress over my head and he watches me with a smirk plastered on his face. He stands up, pulling me with him, over near the water.
"No no no nick!" I protest, but before he hears me I am already being picked up and soon after hitting the cold water. Luckily, I'm not alone and he is in the water too.
He pulls me close to him and grasps me by the waist.
"Sorry for that" he whispers in my ear. "Why did you leave the party so early?"
"Cam dragged me home"
"Too bad, I was having fun" he says in a deep, husky, voice.
"You were drunk"
"But I'm not now" he says, and with that, he crashed his lips onto mine, gripping me harder at the waist with one hand, running his hand through my hair with the other. I kiss back, despite my true feelings. I still did like him, I just didn't think he was my soulmate.
